#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 685: A Parisian Whirl! 🩰💖🇫🇷
Hello my darlings! It’s Emma here, your very own Pink Tutu Ballerina, ready to whisk you off to the City of Lights, a place where every day feels like a beautiful ballet performance! It’s Saturday, 9th February, 2013, and I'm writing this from a little Parisian café, with the aroma of freshly brewed coffee and croissants swirling around me, feeling absolutely giddy with excitement! I finally made it to Paris!
The Eurostar was such a fun experience – there’s nothing quite like zipping through the English countryside, knowing you’re headed towards such a magical place. Of course, I wore my trusty pink tutu (I never leave home without it!) for the journey. You can’t be a Pink Tutu Ballerina and miss out on a little sartorial fun!
I’ve been in Paris for a few days now and already it’s felt like a whirlwind of enchanting moments. There’s just something so magical about this city – the cobblestone streets, the stunning architecture, the delicious food – it truly is a dream come true!
This morning I wandered through the beautiful gardens of the Tuileries, letting the sunshine warm my face and feeling utterly captivated by the beauty all around. There were families picnicking on the grass, couples enjoying strolls, and children giggling and chasing pigeons. The air was alive with laughter and a kind of relaxed Parisian energy that's just so utterly infectious.
Later I enjoyed a long lunch in a tiny bistro, feasting on a divine steak frites, washed down with a refreshing glass of rose. Paris really does cater to every desire!
After lunch I wandered through the streets, letting myself get lost in the intoxicating sights and sounds of the city. Each corner revealed a new architectural wonder, each shop window held a captivating display. There was so much to explore!
I made sure to pick up some little gifts at a charming little shop near the Seine. I can't wait to spoil my Mum and sisters with a Parisian souvenir!
This evening I'm heading to a ballet performance at the Palais Garnier – it's the iconic Parisian Opera House, you know, the one that inspired the Phantom of the Opera. How exciting is that?! I’ve dreamt of seeing a ballet performance in such a breathtaking venue and I can’t wait to be completely swept away by the elegance and grace of the dancers! I'm actually feeling a little nervous but it's a good kind of nervous – the kind that fills your heart with anticipation. I’m going to soak up every minute, let the beauty of it all seep into my soul, and feel utterly inspired.
Of course, I’ve made sure to pack several pink tutus for the occasion – each one perfect for enhancing my enjoyment of the performance! You can bet my tutu-tastic ensemble will be making a splash! I’ll share pictures later on!
This trip to Paris is just what I needed – a chance to reconnect with my passion for dance, explore a new and exciting city, and of course, find some amazing new outfits! I'm sure I’ll be bursting with more fabulous Parisian adventures to share with you next week, but for now, I must go and get ready for this magical night at the opera!
As always, remember – pink tutus are joy, pink tutus are magic, and pink tutus are a reminder to embrace all things beautiful in this life! Until next Saturday!
Lots of love,
Emma x
P.S. Did you know? This is my 685th blog post! I’m feeling incredibly grateful to each and every one of you for being on this amazing journey with me!

- Plan your trip by train. It’s so much fun! It allows you to sit back, relax and admire the beautiful landscapes whizzing past.
- Be bold and dance your heart out! No one is judging you, so have a tutu-tastic time and dance with freedom on those Parisian streets!
