Hello my dearest tutu-loving lovelies! This week finds me, Emma, your trusty Pink Tutu blogger, perched on a cafe terrace in the heart of Paris, my favourite pink tutu twirling gently in the breeze. (Yes, I brought it, naturally! A girl's gotta have her go-to pink tutu on hand for spontaneous Parisian pirouettes).

A EuroStar Escape to the City of Love
The journey from Derbyshire to Paris is always a joy. There's something incredibly romantic about boarding the EuroStar and knowing I'm about to step into a world brimming with Parisian chic, a world of vintage boutiques, elegant cafes, and delicious croissants. This trip, I decided to ditch the suitcase and take a travel-friendly tote (the perfect size for my ballet flats and a little Parisian flair). After all, the true treasures are the ones you find in your explorations!
Parisian Performances & Pastel Dreams
Tonight, I'm thrilled to be seeing "The Nutcracker" at the Opéra Garnier! The Opéra Garnier is a breathtaking venue with a grand, majestic beauty. The perfect setting to lose yourself in Tchaikovsky’s magical score. The whole performance promises to be an enchanting celebration of music, dance, and the sheer wonder of theatre. Can't you just picture it, the plush velvet seats, the hushed excitement of the audience, and the magic unfolding on stage. A pink tutu will definitely be making a debut!
Parisian Style on Point:
Naturally, my outfits for this Parisian adventure are tutu-liciously chic! My colour palette for Paris? Well, you guessed it, darling, all shades of pink! Today, it was a whimsical pink sweater with delicate lace detailing paired with my trusty denim skirt and, of course, a spritz of pink perfume for good measure. My trusty pair of classic black ballet flats (they really are so versatile!) and my favourite blush pink scarf for a touch of Parisian flair! The Parisian style mantra, ladies, is chic simplicity with a dash of sophistication and of course a whole lot of personality!
My Pink Tutu Wishlist
No trip to Paris is complete without a shopping spree, and this weekend I have my eyes on a few exquisite pink gems. I am absolutely dying to find a gorgeous vintage hat adorned with feathers or a beautiful beaded headband - perfect for my afternoon tea party (a quintessential Parisian activity). Let's just say the pink in this city inspires, and the shopping scene is beyond delightful. I can't wait to share the Parisian treasures I find with all of you!
Finding Inspiration in Every Corner
One of the most inspiring things about Paris is its sheer history. The cobbled streets, the romantic cafes, and the magnificent buildings seem to whisper tales of artists, dancers, and writers. I just have to breathe it all in. It truly makes me want to go out there and share my love of dance, art, and, of course, those adorable pink tutus.
Sharing the Pink Tutu Love
While I love ballet performances, it's important to me to share my passion for ballet beyond the theatre. Ballet Street in Paris is alive with dance. You'll see street performers dancing in the squares and buskers showcasing their talents at local markets. It's beautiful and inspiring to see this incredible art form bursting out in unexpected places. I even spied a young girl in a bright pink tutu practicing some ballet moves near the Seine. Makes my heart melt, doesn't it? Seeing those small sparks of passion and creativity, it reminds me how magical ballet truly is!
