Pink Tutu Paris: A Parisian Adventure #728

Hello darlings! It's Emma, back with another Pink Tutu Paris post. This week, I'm bursting with Parisian inspiration - imagine, if you will, a whirl of pastel macarons, chic boudoirs, and…a whole lot of pink tutus! 😉

After a fab journey on the EuroStar – I mean, travelling by train is so much more elegant than flying! – I found myself in Paris, the City of Lights, all ready to soak up the magical energy of the Parisian arts scene. I mean, what better place to channel your inner ballerina?

And speaking of tutus, well, I couldn't resist rocking a pale pink, fluffy confection this week. It's the perfect match for all the chic Parisian style I’ve been encountering! I’ve been told that Paris is the fashion capital of the world, so of course, I’m ready to embrace it!

Today's blog post is a delightful glimpse into a day of my Parisian adventures, brimming with all the Parisian magic you can handle.

Morning: Bonjour, croissants! 🥐

I woke up to the sweet scent of coffee brewing in the hotel – they just know how to start your day right in this city! My breakfast was, of course, the quintessential French breakfast: flaky croissant, freshly squeezed orange juice, and strong, rich coffee – perfection!

Afterward, I decided to embark on a Parisian stroll, my pink tutu swirling gently as I went. 🩰

And who do I see sauntering out of the elegant Boulangerie? Why, none other than the dashing Benjamin Millepied, a famed French ballet dancer!

Gasp! A true Parisian celebrity sighting. He had just bought himself a classic Pain au Chocolat – talk about chic!

And the best part? He gave me the most charming wink! 🙈💖

Lunch: Afternoon Tea, the French Way

To say my lunchtime was delightful would be an understatement. I stopped for afternoon tea at a delightful little patisserie nestled in a charming courtyard, complete with its own private little fountain. It was so cute!

Oh, the dainty pastries, delicate sandwiches, and creamy Earl Grey tea... pure heaven. They even had a miniature madeleine shaped like a pink tutu – it was simply adorable. 💖

A Cultural Evening: The Majestic Opera Garnier

My heart was overflowing with excitement for this evening! I knew that tonight I’d be attending a show at the Opéra Garnier, one of the world's most famous and stunning opera houses! The magnificent architecture of this place left me completely awestruck.

The Opera Garnier is truly something special, adorned with grand marble staircases, intricately painted ceilings, and exquisite chandeliers.

And the performance! This week it’s *Gounod’s 'Romeo and Juliet.' * I mean, a story about love and destiny - that’s just perfect for a girl like me, don't you think? 😉

Post-Show Adventures:

The performance was fantastic! I couldn’t help but clap my hands along, especially during the dramatic parts. Ballet really is such a powerful and moving art form. The performance brought out a huge array of emotion - I mean, just the thought of Romeo and Juliet’s tragic love story makes me want to reach for the nearest box of tissues. 😭

Of course, after the show, I did what any ballet enthusiast would do - headed to a secret Parisian jazz club, tucked away down a tiny side street. The mood was electric! I spent the rest of the evening swinging my pink tutu, and laughing with newfound friends (the Parisian party scene is definitely happening, you guys!).

The city never sleeps, especially on a Friday night. I mean, there’s just so much energy!

Fashionable Reflections:

Honestly, I could talk about Paris all day!

I don't know about you, but this week, Paris just feels so chic, sophisticated, and inspiring to me. There’s just something about it that makes you want to throw your head back, spin in a pink tutu, and embrace the magic. 💖

Now, tell me what are you waiting for, lovelies? It’s time for your own Parisian adventure! Don't let the cold keep you from enjoying the magic of the City of Lights! It's never too cold for a little bit of twirling, is it? 🩰 And for those of you at home, I think it’s the perfect excuse to get that pink tutu out of your closet!

Till next time, lovelies! And as always, don’t forget to live life in pink tutus, and chase your dreams - no matter what the destination! 💕

Yours in Pink, Emma
