#PinkTutuBlogParis: Bonjour from Paris! (Post #751)
Oh my goodness, darling readers, it's Emma here and you simply must have a peek at what Paris has to offer! It's a dream come true to be in this stunning city. I've just returned from a delicious croissant breakfast in my Parisian hotel room and already my little toes are itching for adventure. This weekend promises to be bursting with tutus and twirls - oh la la!
Last week, you saw my glorious train journey on the Eurostar to the French capital. It was the ultimate Pink Tutu experience: I travelled in my finest pink satin tutu (of course!) and felt like a ballerina princess. The carriages were as stylish as a Chanel boutique, and I couldn't help but steal glances at my fellow travellers. My excitement levels reached peak pink when I saw a lady in a dazzling pink silk scarf - it felt like a synchronicity, a sign that this trip was meant to be!
Remember, you all know how much I adore travelling by train. It's a world of romance and possibility all rolled into one. Unlike those pesky aeroplane journeys, I can wander up and down the aisles, twirling like a graceful ballerina, or settle into a corner with a good book (this time it's "Paris for Fashion Lovers" - a rather apt choice!).
Speaking of romance, I absolutely must tell you about my Paris adventure last night. It involved some of my very favourite things: ballet, pink and Parisian fashion.
As a dancer, it's practically mandatory for me to take a ballet class in any new city - the thrill of learning a new style and getting to know fellow ballerinas from across the globe! So, after arriving in the City of Lights, I found myself in the elegant Studio L'Etoile, where the teacher had a kind face, bright pink lipstick, and the most elegant tutu.
But darling readers, get ready to clutch your pearls! There's something absolutely exquisite I have to tell you about the class. Not only did we perform a beautiful routine in classic ballet (which was all about feeling the music, not just doing the steps, and let me tell you, the Parisian dancers were magical!), we also received the most divine gift...
Each of us got our own little pink tutu! It was an entirely unexpected but delightful surprise that made our hearts flutter with joy. Imagine our adorable pink twirls against the backdrop of a vintage Paris ballet studio - utter Parisian magic!
The joy of the class led us right to a delicious dinner at Le Moulin de la Galette - a famous Parisian eatery just a stone's throw from my hotel. We dined in the vibrant, buzzing atmosphere (and I indulged in a delightful slice of raspberry cake - it would have been rude not to, wouldn't it?).
It was truly a magical night - and we haven't even seen the sights of the Eiffel Tower yet!
Now, today is the day! I can hardly contain my excitement! This morning, Iโll be starting my day with some exquisite window shopping, of course - Paris is a fashion dream, and you all know I'm always searching for the latest pink delights to share with you!
This evening, I have a reservation at the most elegant restaurant - La Tour Eiffel - it promises incredible Parisian views and mouthwatering food.
Oh darling readers, you know that I would never leave Paris without taking a peak at the legendary Palais Garnier! You will find me with my trusty pink camera, ready to share with you the glamour of this iconic Parisian opera house - after all, I've already planned my outfits, pink and glittering as they should be!
Tomorrow, we will explore the city of light some more, a ballet show at the iconic Opera House, lunch at a charming patisserie and possibly a little shopping - although letโs be honest, one can never have too many pink tutus, don't you think?
And as always, darlings, remember: spread the joy of pink, the wonder of tutus and the magic of ballet with the entire world!
Keep on dancing, Emma
