Pink Tutu in Paris: Post 756 – The City of Lights is Sparkling Pink!
Bonjour, my darlings!
This week's adventure takes me to the most romantic city in the world – Paris!
The Eurostar journey was pure magic. I love train travel. The views of the countryside flying by are breathtaking, and there’s always a delightful sense of anticipation about reaching your destination. And speaking of anticipation, you won’t believe what awaited me in Paris…
But first, a little about how I’m managing to fund these incredible adventures. My ballet performances have become increasingly popular. Last month, I even got to perform at a charity gala, surrounded by glittering lights and enthusiastic applause. All this, coupled with the generosity of my ever-supportive followers, allows me to explore the world.
This Saturday in Paris was absolutely packed with pink-tastic adventures! It’s a city where fashion, culture, and just the right amount of whimsy come together, making it the perfect playground for a tutu-loving girl like me.
A Pink Parisian Morning: Coffee & Croissants (and tutus of course!)After settling into my quaint hotel near the Louvre (let’s just say, pink features heavily in the decor!), I started the day with the most beautiful Parisian breakfast. Think: fresh pastries, delicate slices of fruit, strong black coffee and, of course, my signature pink tutu! Because, as you all know, a tutu is not just for the ballet studio. It’s a state of mind! And in Paris, where everyone is embracing their personal style, my tutu just fits right in.
Fashion tip for the day: A pop of pink will make any outfit instantly Parisian-chic. Think delicate rose-hued accessories or a chic pink blazer over your classic Breton stripes. Trust me, it’s effortless, glamorous, and a guaranteed head-turner.
Culture Shock in the City of Light: A Spectacular ShowMy Parisian journey wouldn’t be complete without a ballet performance, would it? The ballet at the Palais Garnier was magnificent! The dancers were ethereal, their movements fluid and captivating, the costumes sumptuous… I could have watched for hours!
I took plenty of photos, of course (you'll have to see them on my Instagram – @PinkTutuEmma), because what's a trip without some gorgeous ballet-inspired snaps?
After the ballet, I wandered through the elegant streets, admiring the architectural marvels of Paris. It’s a city brimming with history and charm. The iconic Eiffel Tower gleamed against the evening sky, and I couldn't resist striking a few tutu-clad poses in front of it for my blog followers.
Shopping Therapy for the Soul: Pink Parisian ParadiseEvery true ballerina knows the importance of a good shopping spree. And Paris, darling, is a haven for fashion lovers.
I popped into the most charming boutiques, where I found myself completely enthralled by Parisian-chic styles. From exquisite silk scarves to delicately embellished brooches, everything I saw felt utterly irresistible!
And of course, I snagged a few delightful accessories – pink, of course! I’ve got a soft spot for Parisian charm bracelets, especially when they have tiny little ballerina shoes dangling from them. I envision these beautiful trinkets hanging from my ballet bag, bringing a bit of Parisian chic to my Derbyshire home.
Dining with Delight: Parisian EleganceI finished my day with a truly magical meal at a small restaurant near the Seine. The warm lights, the soft murmur of conversations, the delectable food – everything felt so incredibly Parisian.
I opted for a light salad, followed by a decadent chocolate mousse. Honestly, it was the most exquisite mousse I’ve ever had, rich and creamy with a hint of dark chocolate. Perfection!
And, naturally, I wore my tutu for dinner! The Parisian air is infused with creativity, making it a place where self-expression reigns supreme. I find myself feeling bolder, brighter, and completely empowered when I'm in a tutu. Because, my darlings, the beauty of a tutu is that it doesn't matter where you wear it. It matters what you feel in it!
A Parisian DreamAs I pen these words, sitting in my Parisian hotel room, my heart feels brimming with joy. The city of lights has captured my heart with its elegant charm and vibrant energy. I have fallen head-over-tutu for Paris, its art, its culture, and its undeniable aura of romance.
Paris, with its magnificent architecture and charming boutiques, feels like a perfect ballet performance – graceful, enchanting, and inspiring.
This is a place I’ll cherish in my heart, and I know I'll return. I am eternally grateful for this magical experience, for the beauty of Paris, and the endless opportunities that life throws my way!

Until next week, Emma, your Pink Tutu girl xx
