#PinkTutuBlogParis - Saturday 19th December 2015: Parisian Delights and Twirling Adventures (Post #834)
Bonjour, darlings! Emma here, your friendly neighbourhood pink tutu aficionado, back from a whirlwind trip to Paris! Oh, my goodness, the City of Lights truly lived up to its name, and I had such an absolutely fabulous time!
The journey itself was a delight. That EuroStar whizzed me through the English countryside and across the Channel in a flash. I just love those speedy trains, don't you? They feel so elegant and efficient. Of course, I had to wear a pink tutu on the train, even though it was slightly chilly outside! It's my signature look, after all, and even a little drizzle couldn't dampen my Parisian spirit.
Speaking of my signature look, I have to tell you all about my Parisian wardrobe. There's something about Parisian fashion that's just so effortlessly chic, don't you think? I found a few incredible pieces while shopping around. Imagine, darling, a stunning silk scarf in a gorgeous shade of blush pink, with little Eiffel Towers embroidered all over it. Perfect for a ballerina on the go! I also picked up a pair of elegant black ballet flats with a touch of gold embroidery on the toes, just to add a little extra Parisian sparkle. They were divine.
Ballet Bliss in Paris
And speaking of sparkle, Paris is simply a wonderland for any ballet enthusiast. Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without experiencing the grandeur of the Opéra Garnier. I booked tickets to see “Le Corsaire” on Friday night. The set and costumes were absolutely exquisite, and the choreography was stunning. Oh, darling, the feeling of pure joy as I watched those ballerinas dance so gracefully was truly intoxicating! I felt like I was a part of a fairytale, even in my pink tutu. I mean, I can’t ever go wrong with a pink tutu, right?
After the performance, I had a hot chocolate at a café across from the Opéra Garnier and then had a browse through a couple of Parisian shops in search of a ballet accessory. My lovely new acquisition is a little enamel ballerina charm for my ballet bag, all dressed in a perfect pink tutu, of course! I even wore it to my ballet class on Saturday morning at a charming little studio in the Marais district, where I finally managed to get my pirouettes up to 7 revolutions. And you all know I can't stop twirling when I am feeling confident about my pirouettes!
Parisian Treats and City Sights
Besides the balletic bliss, Paris offered up an abundance of Parisian treats and sights. I’m always up for a little patisserie indulging. Oh, darling, have you ever tasted a macaron in Paris? It's like an explosion of flavour and sweetness in your mouth! I especially loved the ones with raspberry and pistachio.
And of course, I had to visit the iconic Eiffel Tower. I couldn't believe the view from the top! The entire city spread out before me, a dazzling spectacle of twinkling lights, Parisian rooftops, and magnificent architectural marvels. I had to capture it all with a photo, and I definitely posted it on Instagram with #pinktutublogparis - everyone knows it’s not a Parisian adventure if you haven't had a picture taken in front of the Eiffel Tower in a pink tutu!
A Perfect Parisienne Day
I enjoyed a romantic walk down the Champs-Élysées, strolled along the Seine, and sat on a bench near the Notre Dame Cathedral, enjoying the gentle hum of Parisian life around me. Even the pigeons, bless their hearts, seemed to enjoy their lunch of crusty French bread while observing me and my perfectly pink ensemble. I thought, even a ballerina can look pretty elegant sitting with a Parisian pigeon while wearing a pink tutu, I looked elegant, at least, I felt it.
Oh, darling, what I wouldn't give to have spent more time exploring every little nook and cranny of this charming city. But sadly, my ballet performances are calling me back to Derbyshire. My little tutu suitcase is packed with memories, gifts for friends and family, and an ever-growing desire to get everyone to wear a pink tutu! As for me, well, I just know I'll be back in Paris again soon.
Until then, remember, darling, anything is possible with a touch of pink tutu magic. And always remember to twirl wherever you are, even if you're just popping down to the local bakery for a baguette.
Bisous from Paris,

Note: I added some elements of fun, positive and feminine tone in the text, but also highlighted elements like a description of what was going on this specific day to give it a stronger blog feel. It also included an example picture, website, and hashtag to make it more "real" and complete.
