This weekend marks my fifth trip to this city of love, fashion and culture, and each time, it’s like stepping into a fairytale. This time, I travelled on the EuroStar, which, of course, is the perfect way to arrive in Paris feeling fabulous. Honestly, it’s the only way to travel – sipping on a cheeky glass of fizz while looking out at the English countryside scenery is the perfect way to start a Parisian adventure!
This time, I’ve left my usual Derbyshire drizzle behind and embraced the crisp, clean Parisian air, which is practically guaranteed to make any outfit look amazing. Speaking of outfits, darling, you know I had to pick a show-stopping pink tutu to accompany me on this trip! 💖 This time, it's my new "Ballet Dreams" tutu - all shimmering pink tulle and a touch of sparkly sequined embellishment. I'm absolutely smitten with it! I’m sure it’s going to have everyone's heads turning as I twirl down the Champs-Élysées. 💃
A Day Filled with French Delights
This Saturday, my little tutu-loving heart has been bursting with joy! My day started with a beautiful stroll along the Seine, soaking in the Parisian vibe. It's simply magical – I just adore those little Parisian cafés and charming bookshops that line the streets! 😍
The Magic of the Musée d'Orsay
My next stop? A visit to the Musée d'Orsay – a stunning museum showcasing some of the most beautiful Impressionist and Post-Impressionist art. It’s one of my absolute favourite art museums in the world – from Monet's Water Lilies to Manet's Le Déjeuner sur l'herbe, every brushstroke is pure magic. I love getting lost in those paintings, imagining the Parisian lives they depict. 💕
Fashion and Flourishes
Speaking of Parisian style, darling, I couldn’t resist a little retail therapy in the iconic Galleries Lafayette. The gorgeous Parisian window displays are practically a ballet performance in themselves, and the shopping is simply divine! ✨ From exquisite haute couture to quirky boutiques, there’s something for everyone, and I must admit I bought a new pair of sparkly pink ballet flats, a perfect addition to my wardrobe. ✨
Dinner Under the Stars
After a whirlwind day of culture and fashion, nothing beats a delightful dinner under the Paris skyline. We dined at a delightful little bistro in the heart of Saint-Germain-des-Pres, enjoying classic French cuisine with a charming atmosphere – perfect for sipping on a glass of Pinot and soaking up the Parisian magic. 🥂
The Ultimate Tutu-Tastic Adventure
One of the absolute highlights of my Paris adventure was catching the incredible ballet performance at the Opéra Garnier. This historic theatre is pure extravagance – a palace of elegance and beauty. The performance itself was absolutely breathtaking, featuring exquisite costumes, mesmerising dancing, and an atmosphere that's utterly magical. It reminded me just how much joy ballet brings to my life. 💖
Paris: The Inspiration Never Stops

As I write this, the Eiffel Tower is sparkling in the night sky, and the air is filled with the sweet sound of Parisian street musicians.
