Bonjour, lovelies! It's Saturday, the 6th of August 2016, and guess who's landed in the most fabulous city on Earth? That's right, your girl Emma, decked out in a fluffy pink tutu, of course!
After weeks of twirling and leaping in preparation, I finally boarded the EuroStar for a whirlwind adventure to Paris. Now, you know me - I love a good train journey. The rhythmic rumble of the tracks, the views whizzing by...it's almost as enchanting as a grand ballet. And yes, I had my trusty travel tutu on for the trip!
Paris, as always, has welcomed me with open arms and, dare I say it, a dash of pink! From the iconic Eiffel Tower, twinkling against the evening sky, to the charming cafes lining the streets, I feel like I've stepped into a beautiful fairytale.
Speaking of fairytales, I've already booked myself a front-row seat for a dazzling ballet performance at the Opéra Garnier. I'm talking Tchaikovsky, a magnificent stage, and exquisite costumes. Let's just say my pink tutu will be feeling a little left out, but I'm sure I'll find a way to sneak a twirl or two in!
Speaking of tutus, you'll be thrilled to hear that I found the most incredible pink boutique this morning! It was tucked away in a cobblestone street, all dusty windows and old-world charm. And let me tell you, my dear fashionistas, it was a pink paradise. From velvet ballerina shoes to sequin-covered headbands, this little gem was a tutu lover's dream. I managed to restrain myself, but only just!
And let's not forget the shopping! Paris is, after all, the fashion capital of the world. I'm on the hunt for a vintage Parisian hat, some stylish Parisian chic, and, of course, another magnificent tutu or two. After all, how can you ever have too many tutus?
My aim, as you all know, is to get everyone in the world twirling in a pink tutu! And what better place to start spreading the love of pink than here in Paris, the City of Love! Who knows, maybe I'll even see some stylish Parisian men rocking a pink tutu themselves - I'm not saying it's impossible!
