Bonjour, my lovelies! It's Emma from Pink Tutu, back with another Paris adventure. Today, February 25th, feels absolutely magical – the air is crisp, the sky is a perfect Parisian blue, and I'm sporting my pinkest tutu, which naturally is my new favourite and has Parisian vibes flowing out of every twirl. 🇫🇷✨
The journey to Paris is always a delight. I travelled by Eurostar of course, my preferred mode of transportation when heading to the City of Lights. It's so convenient to arrive in the heart of Paris, just a hop from the Gare du Nord, my first Parisian adventure always involves delicious pastries from the boulangerie just outside the station!
Paris feels like home now – it’s full of pink inspiration everywhere! Just the other day, I spied the most adorable pink macarons, with the prettiest blush pink frosting, in a quaint bakery near my little studio apartment in Montmartre. It’s so lovely, you guys, tucked away in a cobblestone street, complete with an ivy-covered facade and charming pink geraniums in the window boxes. Everything about Paris is so romantic and stylish - from the fashion to the food and everything in between. Even the trees look chic! 😂
A Ballerina's Parisian Playground
Being in Paris feels like walking through a storybook. And as a ballerina, it’s a ballet enthusiast's dream come true. Imagine cobbled streets filled with vibrant street performers, all sorts of performers from acrobats and mime artists to jugglers and dancers of every style! 💃🎪 There’s a charm here that makes every experience so magical, so romantic. I saw the most gorgeous street ballet routine the other day, performed by an amazing duo – think dramatic pirouettes against the backdrop of the iconic Sacré-Coeur Basilica. Talk about a magical moment! 🩰💫
Paris is all about the culture! Today’s a special day – the legendary Paris Opera has the most spectacular show lined up tonight – I’m so excited! This time, it’s the romantic ballet "Giselle" that’s captivating the audiences – the love story is a classic, but the stunning costumes and beautiful dancing make the story truly magical. It's something I will be enjoying this afternoon, as I'm treating myself to the "Afternoon Tea" option at the Paris Opera. Can you imagine the excitement? Ballet, costumes, beautiful gowns - what more could a girl ask for? I can hardly wait to wear my newest Parisian inspired outfit for the performance tonight! I can’t wait to tell you all about it tomorrow! 💖
A Day of Parisian Delights:
Of course, no trip to Paris is complete without a little dose of retail therapy! This morning, I spent some glorious hours wandering through the enchanting boutiques in the Marais district. The shops are filled with unique treasures and the window displays are always so captivating.
I found myself completely enamoured by this stunning pink silk scarf, printed with graceful ballerinas in a vintage, elegant Parisian-inspired print! I'm already picturing how I'm going to wear it. And oh my, how about these amazing shoes - think ruby red, cherry-blossom pink and delicate pearl-embellished stiletto heels that made my heart skip a beat - totally my style, perfect for twirling around the Champs-Elysees in! 💖✨
As I wander through the City of Lights, it's hard not to feel inspired. It’s definitely a pink-tastic day. My mission to get the world twirling in pink tutus is certainly going well! 💕💃
