Hello, my darlings! Emma here, ready to whisk you away on another whirlwind tour of the fabulous city of Paris, as part of my ever-growing Pink Tutu Blog!
It's Saturday, April 29th, and sunshine is pouring through the window of my darling little hotel room, making my pink tutu positively sparkle! This week, I'm positively buzzing as I'm finally here in the City of Lights! My heart was absolutely singing when I boarded the EuroStar for this magical journey - and it's not even lunchtime and already my to-do list is a mile long!
Let me tell you, darling, Paris always gets me so excited, it’s as if I am a little girl again, wide-eyed at the magic of the theatre or mesmerized by the grandeur of the Eiffel Tower, I really believe every girl needs a dose of Parisian magic now and again. I’ve certainly come to the right place, haven’t I?
Today’s itinerary, ladies, is chock-a-block. Firstly, we're hitting up a fashion extravaganza at Galeries Lafayette! My senses are positively tingling thinking about all the new pink frocks and exquisite tulle that awaits. A quick change into a Parisian chic number, with a touch of pink tutu sparkle, is a must!
Later, we’ll indulge in a traditional French crêpe and glass of rose wine, watching the Parisian street scene unfold around us, as we plot our next big adventure. The crêpe stall I’ve spotted on the way to the hotel looks heavenly, and what better accompaniment to the most delicious treat than a pink and fluffy tulle delight? And maybe, just maybe, it’s the perfect opportunity to show the world the beauty of wearing a pink tutu with a fabulous pair of heels!
This evening, it’s off to the Opéra Garnier for the final performance of Giselle, featuring the talented étoile Dorothée Gilbert and the incredibly athletic Marius Valois. To have secured tickets to such a legendary ballet is a dream come true. Imagine, watching two stars of the Parisian ballet world move across the stage with such grace and passion, while I'm looking absolutely magnificent in my custom pink tutu, designed just for this moment, I am ready to live my dream.
My travels wouldn’t be possible without my love for dancing and performing. Back home in Derbyshire, I earn my travel money by taking part in various dance events and charity performances. I am eternally grateful to all those who enjoy my performances and support my travels – I promise to bring you all the magical vibes of Paris straight to your screen!

1. A Ballet Wonderland: Paris, darling, is truly the perfect playground for any ballerina! You have the Opéra Garnier, a spectacular venue where dreams come to life, plus numerous dance schools where I’ve already started scheming about some extra classes. From watching legendary stars to brushing up on my skills, I'm going to absorb every drop of inspiration I can.
2. Food Glorious Food: Every day in Paris feels like an opportunity to sample the divine culinary delights that this city is known for. Think delicate pastries, mouthwatering cheeses, and steaming bowls of hearty French cuisine, and you've got my heart set a-flutter. But really, what's more Parisian than enjoying a divine chocolate croissant while wearing a pink tutu in a charming cafe? My dear friend, the answer is simply, nothing!
3. The Fashion Scene: Paris is the capital of couture and I, as a passionate ballerina with a touch of whimsy, am ready to embrace all the fabulous fashion trends! From the exquisite couture boutiques of the famous avenues to hidden gem vintage shops, my fingers are itching to touch those silk fabrics and tulle delights. What better way to inspire my Pink Tutu blog readers than to bring you exclusive style inspiration from the fashion heart of Europe?
Adventures on SaturdaySaturday morning always feels so exciting, my darlings. This weekend has kicked off in such a divine fashion. I began the day with a blissful Parisian breakfast - think creamy coffee, fresh fruit salad, and warm pastries. To wear my pink tutu for breakfast would be absolute perfection - but today, I am starting with something chic and glamorous: a beautiful satin skirt and lace top, the colour of pink Champagne! (How Parisian, right?)
Before my fashion expedition at Galeries Lafayette, we took a stroll around Le Marais, soaking up the Parisian sunshine and spotting delightful cafés with outdoor seating. This is truly the most romantic city I’ve ever been to, it has a truly enchanting feel that leaves me in a perpetual state of blissful adoration. You could smell the warmth of freshly baked bread wafting from patisseries.
We’ve spent Saturday afternoon exploring the incredible architecture of the Eiffel Tower. This stunning marvel has been captivating people for years and truly deserves its place amongst the greatest Parisian wonders. As you would expect, we snapped a few selfies in my gorgeous pink tulle with the Eiffel Tower as my backdrop, of course!
After a fantastic day of discovering the magic of Paris, I’m going to change into a beautiful floral dress with my favourite pair of sparkling ballet flats, the perfect choice to complement my pink tutu. And it wouldn’t be Paris without a dash of vintage romance. So, for Saturday night, we’re indulging in a spot of dancing at Moulin Rouge.
