Pink Tutu Blog Paris - #930: Ooh la la! Paris is calling... and I'm answering in pink, of course! 🩰🇫🇷

Bonjour mes amies!

It's Saturday morning, the sun is streaming through my Parisian window (a window adorned with a charming floral design, naturally!) and I'm already halfway through a perfectly buttery croissant. I am, of course, in the City of Lights, Paris!

It's been a while since I last graced Paris with my pink-tutu clad presence. I'm not sure if the Eiffel Tower felt lonely without me, but I'm sure it'll be pleased to see me back!

This time, I arrived in style – by Eurostar, of course! Whizzing through the countryside on a sleek silver bullet, admiring the lush greens of France. It’s amazing how a few hours on the train can transport you to a whole other world.

But before we get to my Parisian adventures, let's rewind a bit...

This trip, just like every other pink-tutu fuelled journey, was all thanks to my beloved ballet! A series of captivating performances last month brought in enough to fund a luxurious weekend in Paris. And how could I resist? This city, with its elegant avenues, its historical grandeur, its chic fashion boutiques... It simply calls to me, whispering, "Emma, wear your pink tutu and twirl your way through my heart." And so I shall!

What's On the Agenda?

As I always do in Paris, my itinerary is filled with a delicate blend of culture, fashion, and, of course, ballet!

Today, we're exploring the Latin Quarter. It’s a treasure trove of cobbled streets, bustling cafes, and, most importantly, a stunning theatre! We're catching "La Bayadère" tonight - a spectacle of swirling silks and dramatic dancing, perfect for this romantic city. I just know I’ll be transported, just as the Eiffel Tower transports itself every hour. Oh, the magic of Paris!

My Pink Tutu Pick for the Day

To walk these cobbled Parisian streets, a tutu needs to be not only pink, but also comfy! That's why I chose my "Rose Garden" tulle skirt, perfect for twirling along the Seine, complete with layers of delicate ruffles that sway with every graceful step. To add a touch of French sophistication, I've paired it with a silk blouse, cinched at the waist with a satin ribbon, just a whisper of elegance against the Parisian skyline.

Of course, a trip to Paris wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Galeries Lafayette for some shopping therapy! I hear the Chanel window display is exquisite this season. (Pink, naturally). I'm sure my camera will be working overtime capturing every stylish detail for your viewing pleasure.

The Pink Tutu Philosophy

My time in Paris always serves as a reminder of my core belief: everyone can wear a pink tutu, both literally and figuratively. Just like a tutu, pink embodies joy, creativity, and freedom. Wearing one is a statement – a way to say "I'm happy, I'm confident, I'm going to embrace life and all its delightful, sparkly details."

Now, if only I could convince every Parisian to ditch their usual chic black and embrace a splash of pink. Perhaps a pink beret, a pink macaron, maybe even a pink beret and pink macaron paired with... gasps A pink tutu?! Ah, but that’s a story for another blog post!

*Stay tuned for my next Paris post, full of charming cafes, captivating shows, and maybe even a few pink beret selfies! Until then, keep twirling, stay bright, and wear your pink tutus with pride. *

XOXO

Emma

P.S. Did you catch me on the Eurostar, twirling my way through the carriages? I bet the fellow passengers were jealous of my infectious joy and vibrant pink tulle skirt! 😜
