#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 967: A Parisian Whirlwind!
Bonjour mes chères ballerinas! 🩰
It's Emma here, your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, back with another post from the City of Lights! I’m currently in Paris, living my absolute best life in a whirl of tutus, croissants, and stunning architecture! This week I thought I’d share some highlights of my Parisian adventures with you, so get comfy, grab a cuppa, and let's embark on this delightful journey together!
Eurostar to the Rescue!
Remember those amazing train journeys we all had as kids? Well, the Eurostar has taken everything about travelling by train and turned it up a notch. It’s incredibly comfy, the views are incredible and it gets you to Paris so fast! My tutu, bless its twirly soul, got the royal treatment on this journey too – there was ample room for me to twirl in all its glory, I almost didn’t want to leave!
Paris, Mon Amour!
Paris was a dream come true, even more so with a giant pink tutu in tow. It seemed everyone was embracing the "wear-it-proud" attitude that my heart adores, so you could say I felt right at home! The city oozes fashion and glamour; everywhere you look there’s a chic new boutique begging to be explored. You all know I’m a sucker for a bargain, and Paris was overflowing with treasures for a style-obsessed ballet fan. Think intricate hand-sewn tutus, shimmering fabrics in every colour imaginable, and some seriously stunning shoes. It was heaven for a shopaholic like myself!
Cultural Delights & Choreographed Chaos!
Now, we can't talk about Paris without discussing the spectacle that is the city’s performing arts scene. I snagged a coveted ticket to see Swan Lake at the Palais Garnier Opera House, one of the most beautiful theatres I’ve ever set foot in. The grandiose setting was matched by the exquisite choreography – it was like being swept away in a whirlwind of pure artistry! Oh, and can we talk about those ballerinas? Every step, every gesture – pure magic. My inner ballerina was absolutely mesmerised, and I can honestly say it was a highlight of my trip! I also discovered the coolest underground theatre tucked away in the Latin Quarter. It’s a small venue with a fantastic reputation for alternative performances and dance nights, and it definitely delivered. They even had a fun little ballet workshop – guess who got right on in there and gave it a go?! You can probably tell by the massive smile on my face!
A Tutu-ific Time!
Of course, no Parisian adventure would be complete without a photo shoot or two in front of iconic landmarks! I donned my pink tutu at the Eiffel Tower, twirling and leaping in delight. It was pure joy. The views, the magic, the memories… I’m so glad I captured every moment for you all!
This trip wouldn’t have been possible without my amazing #PinkTutuFamily back home in Derbyshire. Your unwavering support encourages me to share my love for ballet and travel with the world! It’s thanks to you all that I can pursue my passion and bring joy through my #pinktutu mission.
Now, it’s back to my trusty tutu and all things sparkly for me! Join me every Saturday for another #PinkTutuBlogParis post. Until next time, darling ballerinas, happy twirling!
Xx Emma
