Bonjour from Paris! #PinkTutuBlogParis - Post 972
Oh, my darlings! The Eiffel Tower glistens in the Parisian sunshine and I am absolutely buzzing with excitement. Paris! My heart beats a little faster when I think about this magical city, a city where elegance and creativity dance hand in hand. This week, my dreams came true as I boarded the Eurostar, my tutu twirling in glee, and arrived in this enchanting metropolis. As usual, Iām here to share my adventures with you lovely lot, so grab a croissant, settle in, and let's embark on a whirlwind tour of pink-tastic Parisian fun!
Travelling in style, of course! The Eurostar is such a wonderful way to travel; so much smoother than flying! As I made my way across the Channel, I indulged in the luxury of being on a train. The journey flew by in a flurry of dreamy thoughts, and before I knew it, we were arriving in the heart of Paris! It feels like coming home in a way.
The Power of Pink! Now, Paris is known for its fashion, but let's face it, you can't go wrong with a touch of pink. This city practically whispers for the color. Every corner oozes charm and sophistication, just like the blush-tinted rose gardens in the Parc de la Villette. Even the street performers are effortlessly chic. So, you know Iāve got my ballet-inspired pink tutu wardrobe prepped and ready to go.
Where Fashion Meets Performance!
The biggest excitement for this week in Paris is that thereās a show at the ThĆ©Ć¢tre du ChĆ¢telet, "Giselle" by the Bolshoi Ballet. This is my first time seeing the Bolshoi perform outside of Russia. I am absolutely thrilled, and have got my pinkest, most gorgeous, tutu ready to wear! My fellow tutu lovers, you know we love nothing more than a ballet in the most beautiful Parisian setting. I am beyond excited. Imagine the breathtaking choreography, the grandeur of the theater, the swirling tutus - I can't wait to share every glorious detail with you.
My Favourite Parisian Ritual: Wandering & Shopping!
There's no greater joy than simply strolling along the Seine, inhaling the intoxicating scent of freshly baked bread from boulangeries, the soft melody of street musicians floating in the air, and, of course, the allure of beautiful Parisian shops beckoning me with their stylish displays.
Finding my Ballet Inspiration
I've got to admit, my trip to Paris is fuelled by inspiration! My love for ballet has taken me on so many adventures. And I feel a special connection to this city; a deep reverence for the elegance and artistry that's evident on every street corner. I love watching street performances and Iāve even managed to squeeze in a ballet class at the gorgeous studio āStudio Harcourt' - right by the Seine - that had me spinning and leaping with joy! I am also planning to attend another Parisian favourite: 'La Pyramide' show by Les Arts G. - itās on Saturday at the Theatre du ChĆ¢telet. It's like Paris whispers in your ear "Let's explore ballet's enchanting world"!
My Pink Tutu Tip for the Week: Embrace Your Inner Parisian
You know, a Parisian's attitude towards fashion is all about embracing effortless style. It's less about looking perfect and more about feeling comfortable and confident in your own skin. For me, that's why tutus work. The secret is to express yourself and be bold, yet embrace comfort and practicality. If there's anything to learn from Parisian fashion, it's this: style and grace should always be enjoyed! So let's make every day a Parisian adventure ā where confidence is our accessory, and a pink tutu is our way of celebrating joy and creativity.
Now, letās talk tutus, shall we? Whatās my favourite? Ooh, itās so hard to choose! You know, every tutu holds a special memory, but my all-time favourite would have to be the pink tulle one with the hand-sewn sequined butterfly pattern. It is pure whimsy and always manages to draw admiring glances - and who wouldn't be delighted by a sparkly, pink, dancing butterfly?!
Keeping it Pink!
Before I say āAu revoirā to Paris, I want to hear all about you! Tell me in the comments what you love about the city of lights. Do you share my love for tutus and ballet? Where are you going on your next trip? And tell me your thoughts on all things pink! Iād love to hear from you! Stay tuned for next week's post, when Iāll be taking you all to the wonderful "The Crazy Horse" nightclub in Paris!
Until then, keep twirling and keep dreaming!
Love, Emma
