Pink Tutu Paris - Post #995 - A Whirlwind Weekend in the City of Lights!

Bonjour mes chéries! It’s Emma here, back from a whirlwind weekend in Paris! I just had to share my adventures with you lovely lot. As you know, Paris is one of my absolute favourite places in the world – the fashion, the culture, the food... it’s all just so magnifique. And, of course, it’s the perfect place to rock a pink tutu, wouldn't you agree?

This trip was extra special though because I actually travelled to Paris by Eurostar! I absolutely adore travelling by train. There’s something so romantic and glamorous about it, don’t you think? It’s so much more relaxing than flying too. I was even able to sneak in a little bit of ballet practice during the journey, thanks to the extra legroom in First Class – very chic, n'est-ce pas?

Now, where to even begin?! My trip was jam-packed with exciting adventures. I mean, Paris on a weekend? It's literally a ballet in itself, don't you think? You've got the twirls, the beautiful scenery, the romance... It was so good, I literally danced my way through it. Speaking of dancing, Saturday (which, coincidentally, is when I always write these posts!), was a dream. I saw the most incredible ballet performance at the Palais Garnier. It was The Sleeping Beauty, and I was literally blown away by the costumes, the sets, and of course, the incredible dancing. There's just nothing quite like the feeling of seeing a classic ballet performed with such grace and precision. I even got to meet one of the dancers afterwards for a quick chat – she was so lovely, and we bonded over our shared love of pink tutus, of course!

After the performance, I indulged in some delicious French cuisine with a good friend. The Parisian food scene is something else, isn't it? I just can't resist the croissants, the baguettes, the creamy cheese – my waistline might hate me for it, but it’s worth it, darling! We then went on a beautiful walk through the city, and took some utterly adorable photos. I wore my new pink tutu (a lovely vintage number I found in a shop on Rue de Rivoli – it has a beautiful ribbon trim! – just wait until you see it!) paired with my favourite cream cardigan, of course. It was the perfect outfit for a stroll down the Seine and watching the sunset over the Eiffel Tower. Seriously, who knew you could feel so much romantic energy in one place?!

And speaking of romance, I stumbled across the most delightful little shop in Montmartre on Sunday. It was a vintage dress boutique full of gorgeous vintage finds. Imagine this - every colour of the rainbow in soft, dreamy fabrics! A whole world of inspiration for any pink tutu lover, I'm telling you! Of course, I had to pick up a few new treasures – a vintage scarf with floral prints for my hair and the most fabulous pair of pearl earrings. They really added the je ne sais quoi to my entire ensemble, I think I just might live in this outfit from now on.

Paris is such an inspirational place, isn't it? You just feel the creative energy in every corner! It makes me feel so excited to plan my next trip and try out a few of my own choreographed routines in front of the Eiffel Tower, in a fabulous pink tutu of course!

Of course, the whole point of my adventures and travels is to share this passion for pink tutus with all of you! Let's make the world a more colourful and fun place, shall we? We need more twirls, more glitz, and more pink! Who wants to join me in embracing the power of the pink tutu? Don't forget to share your own pink tutu moments with me, I love seeing all of your amazing photos.

Au revoir, mes amies!

Emma
