Bonjour mes amis! It’s Emma here, your Pink Tutu princess, and I’m positively enchantée to be back in the City of Lights! The Eiffel Tower sparkles in the distance, the air smells of croissants and…wait, is that a sprinkle of pink? I do love a good sprinkling!
You know how much I love trains, especially the Eurostar. It's just so chic! Whizzing through the tunnel between England and France, feeling the magical journey begin...It makes my pink tutu swirl with excitement!
And Paris? Paris is the most magnificent dance studio ever! Every cobbled street, every stunningly romantic monument…a graceful waltz in the air, with the whispers of centuries swirling around you. How could I not be here, wearing my favourite pink tutu? It's practically mandatory!
This week's adventure started at the Gare du Nord, a symphony of swirling suitcases and chattering tourists. I felt a familiar thrum of excitement - I'd planned this trip for months, earning every penny by dancing my heart out. I adore being a ballerina, you see - there’s nothing quite like taking a graceful leap onstage, feeling the applause fill the theatre. Each pirouette, each arabesque is a chance to share my joy of dancing.
Speaking of dance, tonight I’m going to see a performance at the Palais Garnier! I just can't wait to be swept away by the sheer beauty of the Parisian ballet. Imagine, graceful ballerinas, twirling on the stage, shimmering costumes reflecting the theatre lights - it's pure magic. You'll have to wait until next week to hear all about it - but I promise, it’s going to be fabulous!
And no trip to Paris would be complete without a spot of shopping! The Champs-Élysées? It's practically an entire ballet performance! From Dior to Chanel, to independent boutiques bursting with unique Parisian charm, it’s a dream come true. I’m thinking I need a new pink tutu to commemorate my Parisian escapades…or perhaps a little pink beret to match?
This city is simply bursting with inspiration, so keep your eyes glued to this blog. I’ve got a whole week to explore this Parisian wonderland, from secret alleyways to breathtaking museums and grand theatres.
