Bonjour, mes amies! Itās Saturday again, and Iām back in Paris, oh Paris! The city of love, fashion, and (of course) ballet. How I love coming to this city! Iām here for a whirlwind week of seeing shows, indulging in haute couture shopping sprees, and, most importantly, soaking up the magic of the Parisian ballet scene.
The Eurostar Whirlwind
This time, I travelled on the Eurostar, a wonderful way to reach the city in style. It was a smooth and seamless journey, leaving from St Pancras International in London. For someone who finds the romance of train travel hard to resist, the Eurostar journey was simply divine! My carriage was almost as exciting as my arrival at the Gare du Nord ā so elegant and French, with stylish seating and a truly cosmopolitan atmosphere.
Parisian Days
Today was a whirlwind of Parisian adventure. First things first, I headed to the Louvre. It's always a treat, a chance to be surrounded by art that transcends time. I spent hours just admiring masterpieces like "The Raft of the Medusa" and "Venus de Milo", before indulging in some delectable pastries at a cute little cafe nearby.
Then, I was off to the OpƩra Garnier, the jewel in the crown of Parisian ballet. My heart almost burst out of my chest! There's a breathtaking sense of awe when you enter, and I couldn't resist striking a pose in the foyer with my tutu billowing around me, for that Instagram moment, naturally!
Shopping, of course!
And what trip to Paris is complete without a shopping spree? The Marais district was my first stop - oh, the delights! The quaint shops and chic boutiques are just begging to be explored. And let's be honest, thereās just something magical about finding a perfectly pink sequined headband tucked away on a Parisian street corner.
The Theatre Performance of the Day
The evening found me at the Palais Garnier for a breathtaking ballet performance by the Paris Opera Ballet. My senses were overwhelmed with colour and grace ā oh, it was sublime! They performed āGiselleā, one of my absolute favourites, and let me tell you, the entire production was stunning. The dancers were exquisite, every movement perfectly choreographed, and I found myself totally mesmerised.
Fashion Inspiration
I must confess, the whole city inspires me to embrace my inner Parisian. Everywhere I go, the style and elegance just radiate, and I couldnāt resist treating myself to a beautiful new silk scarf from a charming little boutique, an essential for any ballerina, and perfect to tie around my pink tutu.
Tutu Trendsetting
Now, every adventure comes with its mission. And my mission in Paris, as always, is to spread the pink tutu message! You can't go anywhere in this city without spotting something exquisitely pink - the bakeries, the boutiques, even the streetlights ā a delightful symphony of blush and coral, making me feel so much at home! So, hereās a friendly challenge to everyone, why not embrace the pink tutu, wherever you are in the world? Embrace the whimsical, the playful, and bring a bit of that Paris magic to your own lives.

- Sunday, 30th June: Attending a masterclass at the Ecole de Danse de l'OpĆ©ra de Paris - the legendary school where some of the worldās greatest ballerinas have trained. You know I have to bring my dancing shoes for this one, right?
- Monday, 1st July: The Marais district is calling again! Time to find the most charming vintage finds for a fab new ballet wardrobe, maybe some Parisian hats too?
- Tuesday, 2nd July: This will be the day to explore the chic Parisian fashion boutiques ā canāt wait to discover all the exquisite outfits and add to my own ballet-inspired wardrobe! Itās time for a true āPink Tutuā shopping spree!
- Wednesday, 3rd July: A relaxing day at a charming tea salon for afternoon tea in Paris ā imagine all the pastries and sandwiches, what could be more French!
- Thursday, 4th July: Attending a gala performance at the OpĆØra Bastille, followed by cocktails and dancing ā how magical will that be? Iāll share a sneak peak on Instagram.
- Friday, 5th July: The final day of this Parisian adventure ā how quickly time flies. The trip back to London by Eurostar beckons ā time to catch up on all my adventures for you.
