Pink Tutu Paris: #1023 - Ooh la la, Paris!
Bonjour mes chéries! It's Emma here, ready to share my latest Parisian escapade with you. Today, we're embarking on a vibrant journey filled with tutus, croissants, and oh so much chic, so grab your fanciest beret (or your most dazzling tutu!) and let's waltz through the City of Lights together!
It all began in my beloved Derbyshire, England. A quick trip down to St. Pancras Station and the magnificent Eurostar whisked me away to the magical streets of Paris. That's the beauty of train travel, don't you think? There's something so glamorous and efficient about whizzing through countries in a few short hours, feeling like a Parisian socialite on a whistle-stop tour.
My Ballet Inspiration
Speaking of glamour, you won't be surprised to hear I was fuelled by my latest ballet success! Landing a part in the Derbyshire Dance Company's latest production - a magical performance of "Giselle" - allowed me to finally indulge in a much-needed Parisian escape! The energy from the stage is what fuels my travels, making each adventure so much sweeter.
Tutu Chic & Paris Shopping
Upon arrival, it was a straight shot to my hotel in Montmartre, followed by an urgent change into my pink tulle tutu, because Paris demands a splash of colour! I simply couldn't resist a stroll down the charming Rue de Montmartre. My little ballerina heart danced with delight at every boutique and art gallery. I managed to snag a pair of exquisite ballet pumps – the perfect footwear for a day of exploring the city – a beautiful silk scarf in my favourite shade of pale pink, and, naturally, a croissant for a post-shopping snack. The flaky, buttery goodness paired with the Parisian sun made it an absolutely perfect Parisian morning.
Bonjour, Musée Rodin!
Of course, my afternoon wasn't complete without a dose of artistic inspiration. A visit to the Musée Rodin, with its iconic "The Thinker" and enchanting sculpture garden, was pure magic. I couldn't resist snapping a picture of myself beside "The Kiss," my tutu twirling happily around me. Who can resist a bit of romanticism amidst the captivating art of Rodin?
Dinner with a Twist: My Love for Food
Dinner was a treat at Le Jules Verne restaurant in the Eiffel Tower, offering breathtaking views over the city. Their innovative contemporary cuisine paired with my pink tutu was an absolute explosion of style and flavour! The perfect finale to a day of Parisian adventure!
Saturday Night Fever: Ballet & Broadway!
This evening, I was swept away to the grand Palais Garnier for a performance of "Swan Lake." The sheer artistry and passion of the dancers was mesmerising. I can't tell you how much I adore the sheer magic and grandeur of ballet – a feeling of wonder I long to share with everyone!
A Hint of Parisian Nightlife
And for those who fancy a little "je ne sais quoi," Paris at night is simply electrifying. I’m already planning my evening escapade. Maybe a bit of jazz at a charming Montmartre cafe? A chance to immerse myself in Parisian bohemian vibes and soak up the energy of the city.
Until Next Saturday, Mon Cherie!
Well, that was my Paris day! It was truly a symphony of Parisian elegance and whimsy! I'm already dreaming about my next adventure. And remember, the Pink Tutu Paris Blog returns next Saturday! Until then, remember, the world is your stage, and every day can be a dance! And please, keep the tutu spirit alive – because the world needs more pink and sparkle!
Au revoir!
Emma, your Pink Tutu Parisian
