Hello my dearest tutu-lovers! It’s Emma here, your resident pink tutu-wearing ballerina, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be bringing you another blog post, straight from the enchanting city of Paris! This week's adventures are even more sparkly than usual, and trust me, you won't want to miss a single detail!
This week, post number 1024, I’ve ventured out to the Parisian capital after a super swish train journey on the EuroStar, you know, a bit like a floating tutu but even more glamorous! Paris truly is the perfect destination for a tutu-clad ballerina - the beautiful architecture, the cobbled streets, and the endless opportunities for fabulous photo ops make it my dream city. Plus, there are so many amazing ballet shows to see - this is my ultimate dream come true!
My pink tutu adventures have taken me to some truly magical spots so far. I’ve been twirling my way around the Eiffel Tower (and, of course, getting some phenomenal shots!), strolled along the Champs-Élysées, and marveled at the architectural splendor of the Louvre Museum. But honestly, the real highlights so far are definitely the Parisian food and the fashion! The pastries here are like works of art, and I haven’t stopped dreaming about the perfect baguette and coffee I savored earlier today.
I've always been obsessed with French fashion, but experiencing it in person is truly next-level. Just the other day, I popped into a chic boutique and found the most exquisite pair of ballet flats, perfectly pink, of course. You know I'll be adding these to my ballet-inspired wardrobe pronto! Paris really inspires me to think outside the box and experiment with colour and style, and who knows, maybe one day I’ll be launching my own ballet-inspired clothing line. Wouldn't that be something!
I'm already counting down the hours until my ballet performance at the beautiful Théâtre du Châtelet tonight. Imagine, me, twirling in my shimmering pink tutu, performing alongside talented dancers, under the iconic Parisian stage lights - pure magic! After all, it's the beauty of my ballet performances that allow me to make my dreams a reality - funding my journeys, inspiring my style, and sharing my love of ballet with the world.
And speaking of sharing, let's talk about my little mission to encourage everyone to wear a pink tutu at least once in their life. After all, pink is a symbol of joy, creativity, and confidence, just like a ballerina's tutu! It’s all about embracing your inner sparkle, whatever shape or size you are, and being bold with your style. Why just watch the dancers when you can feel like one, right?
Here's a little preview of my adventures today. It all began with a dreamy Parisian breakfast. Fresh pastries and a creamy cappuccino - my Parisian heart was soaring! I was a picture of elegance in my custom-made, blush-pink tulle tutu, perfectly complimented by my pale pink, lace-trimmed cardigan. My look, a delicate ballerina-esque silhouette, perfectly blended the elegance of classic Paris with my own unique flair. It truly feels like I'm stepping straight out of a whimsical fairytale.
After a morning of exploring, we decided to hop onto the iconic Parisian Metro. Honestly, I could have just stood in that station all day! There are so many vibrant colours, captivating art installations, and the beautiful architectural detail! The Paris metro truly is a work of art, but let me tell you, those escalators were not meant for big tulle dresses, haha!
One of the most exciting experiences I had today was visiting the legendary Bon Marché department store! You guys, it's like a sartorial wonderland for anyone who loves fashion, particularly when it comes to shoes, as I do! You could get lost for hours browsing the displays, admiring the latest designer creations, and feeling utterly inspired by the abundance of colour and style. I just adore being surrounded by such a creative and artistic atmosphere, it really gets my creative juices flowing and my tutu-loving heart racing!
Now, I'm heading back to my little Parisian hotel (with my adorable suitcase, which you must know is pink and sparkly, of course!). I'm going to have a little bit of downtime, have a relaxing bath with my lavender scented bubble bath (because who doesn’t love a little bit of self-care?), then it's off to get dressed for the show!
