Bonjour mes amies!
This Saturday, I’m whisking you all away to the City of Lights - Paris, darling! I finally managed to get that train ticket (you know me, gotta book those tickets weeks in advance!), so we’re jetting off on a Eurostar adventure. Honestly, who doesn’t love a good train journey? The anticipation of reaching a new destination is practically electrifying. And trust me, Paris never fails to electrify!
Oh, and this week, my little pink tutu’s making a guest appearance, tucked neatly in my suitcase (it's all about planning ahead!). Don’t worry, darling, it won't be making any public appearances in the Parisian streets. After all, even this Derbyshire girl knows to save the pink tulle for the stage!
Now, where was I? Ah, yes! My Parisian rendezvous! It wouldn't be a trip to the City of Lights without indulging in the magic of ballet, so, naturally, I’ve snagged some tickets to see Giselle at the Paris Opera. Imagine my delight when I discovered the renowned dancers have a new tutus this year! This week’s ballet street and theater posts are going to be intense. Expect a lot of swish and twirl! I simply cannot wait!
And of course, a visit to Paris wouldn’t be complete without indulging in a little retail therapy! My trusty camera’s at the ready to capture all those oh-so-gorgeous French designs (ahem, perhaps an adorable, blush pink handbag to accompany me during my time in the city! Just imagining it!). I already know I’ll be snapping photos of Parisian street style. So many fashion-forward women and I adore the effortlessly chic vibe!
Speaking of the city's magic, today is 20th September, the day they’ll be kicking off a weekend full of cultural extravaganzas in Paris. I mean, it's France, so a bit of fanfare and celebration comes with the territory, doesn’t it? I’m so thrilled to be experiencing the French charm during a truly spectacular event! I already smell a delectable Parisian pastry and hear the melodic French whispers in the air...and perhaps I’ll even have the pleasure of watching a captivating, enchanting street performance or two.
