This weekend I embarked on my very first trip to Paris by Eurostar. It was just like stepping onto a film set. You know that scene in every movie where the glamorous passengers arrive in Paris? Yeah, I was living it. All the French people looked effortlessly chic, the air smelled like croissants and jasmine, and I swear I heard a Parisian chanson in the distance as I walked off the train. It was just utterly charming, and of course, my pink tutu fit right in, a splash of colour amidst the classic Parisian chic. 💖

Paris, a Pink Tutu Paradise:
Since my arrival, I've already discovered that Paris is just dripping in pink tutu inspiration. The city is a treasure trove of art, history, and fashion, and the combination is absolutely divine. I could spend days just wandering around the streets, admiring the beautiful architecture, browsing the quirky shops, and soaking up the atmosphere.
What's Happening in Paris This Weekend?
There's so much happening in Paris right now, and I'm determined to see it all. Today, I'm off to the iconic Palais Garnier for a show at the Opera. Can you imagine, darling, dancing under that spectacular chandelier? It's a ballerina's dream come true! Later, I'll be venturing into the charming Marais district for some vintage treasure hunting and indulging in a magnifique pastry, all the while taking in the breathtaking architecture and soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
The City of Lights, Filtered Through Pink:
Don't worry, darlings, my Parisian adventures won't just be about cultural explorations! It wouldn't be a Pink Tutu blog without some shopping. My favourite pink Parisian boutiques include L'Eclaireur for high-end luxury and The Kooples for effortlessly stylish, French girl vibes.
And as you all know, my other love after ballet is fashion! I'll be scouring the city's streets for the trendiest Parisian styles, especially vintage pieces to add a touch of chic Parisian vintage to my wardrobe. Imagine: a beautiful, vintage silk dress with a bold pink tutu, or a Parisian-inspired black beret topped off with a delicate, pink tulle feather. I'm thinking, darling, think Audrey Hepburn meets a touch of whimsical!

Before I let you go, darlings, I wanted to give a shout-out to the incredible Eurostar service. As I mentioned earlier, taking the Eurostar to Paris was like being whisked away in a magical carriage. So comfortable, and just incredibly efficient. Plus, who can resist the view from the window as you travel through the countryside? I highly recommend it.
And to all my amazing supporters back home, your love and support makes these trips possible! The joy of performing, especially back in my home county of Derbyshire, is how I fund these travels, and to see the look on little girl's faces as I twirl in my tutu is the biggest reward.
