Pink Tutu Blog Paris: #1095 - Bonjour Paris, Bonjour Tutu! 🩰🇫🇷
Oh, hello my darlings! Emma here, signing in live from the City of Lights, where the Eiffel Tower twinkles like a million little pink diamonds! Can you believe it’s Paris? This dazzling metropolis, the ultimate fashion dream, the home of Coco Chanel and Christian Dior, is mine for the exploring!
This is my tenth trip to Paris – the tenth time I’ve felt my heart swell with Parisian magic the moment the Eurostar pulled into Gare du Nord. As you all know, there's just something about Paris that makes a pink tutu look utterly chic! It’s like the City of Lights is a magical runway just waiting for a touch of pink tulle!
The EuroStar is a fairytale in itself! You get on the train in London, and when you step off a mere 2 hours and 15 minutes later, you’re in a completely different world. Honestly, travelling on the EuroStar makes even the shortest journey feel like a glamorous adventure. There's something so effortlessly elegant about zooming through the French countryside with a book and a glass of French wine, dreaming of pink tutus and Parisian promenades.
A Week in Paris: What’s on My Itinerary?
This week in Paris is all about ballet, shopping, and seeing the sights! (and naturally, plenty of delicious croissants)! I'm going to be indulging in a few spectacular ballet performances, one at the Palais Garnier – which, by the way, has just the most incredible chandelier! Oh, and don’t even get me started on the beautiful costume changes during the ballets. I've also got a fantastic tutu shopping spree lined up - Paris is heaven on earth for tulle lovers! And, of course, a visit to the Musée Rodin is non-negotiable. Every single sculpture tells a story!
Today, my little ballerinas, we're talking Saturday 19th December 2020, a day that will forever be etched in my memory! This afternoon, I indulged in an afternoon tea at a delightful little café tucked away in Montmartre. The delicate finger sandwiches and cakes, paired with a piping hot cup of Earl Grey, was pure Parisian bliss. Oh, and the petit fours? Let’s just say my Instagram story of them got a lot of "OMG, I need to be there!" comments!
After my tea, I walked the charming cobblestone streets of Montmartre, where artists and dreamers from all over the world converge. This area is overflowing with history and charm! I'm even starting to feel like an artist myself, inspired by the colorful studios, bustling art galleries, and whimsical charm. My little ballerinas, if you find yourselves in Paris, a walk through Montmartre is a must!
My Paris Wish:
I know I say this all the time, but seeing people embrace their inner ballerinas in Paris just makes me happy! Paris, the city of romance, beauty, and chic style, truly embodies the pink tutu spirit! It makes me think about the world's perception of dance, how we can all be inspired by grace and artistry in everyday life.
Maybe it's the city's historical influence on the ballet world, or perhaps the simple fact that the people of Paris dress with an unbridled sense of joy! Either way, I believe it’s time to shed the stereotypes and unleash our inner ballerinas – no matter where we are! We can be graceful in our steps, beautiful in our hearts, and oh-so-elegant with every step!
Join me on this journey as we explore the enchantment of Paris through a pink tutu-colored lens! I'll be sharing my Parisian adventures and musings every Saturday right here on www.pink-tutu.com.
Until next Saturday, remember to always stay twirling, my darlings!
Love,
Emma 💖🩰🇫🇷
