Hello, my lovely tutu-wearing friends! It's Emma here, writing to you from the most magical city in the world - Paris! ✨ As always, I'm bursting with excitement and a healthy dose of Parisian pink-tinted wanderlust. 💖 Today marks the start of my adventure in this iconic city, and, as usual, my pink tutu is my trusty travel companion.
After all, what's a trip to Paris without a twirl or two in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower?
My journey began in Derbyshire, England, where I swapped the rolling green hills for the Eurostar - the most glamorous way to travel. It's the ultimate ballet shoe of travel - comfortable, efficient and utterly chic! I made sure to wear my lucky tutu, which is the most fabulous shade of pink, you just have to see it! Of course, my trusty pink travel essentials are packed to the brim: my ballerina-inspired travel bag, pink floral scarf, and my tiny bottle of French perfume that just screams "je ne sais quoi". 💖
You all know, dear readers, that funding my globetrotting adventures isn't just about ballet performances – although, let's be honest, those are a huge part of it! The secret sauce, you see, is my passion for spreading the joy of the pink tutu – something that gives me great pleasure and allows me to follow my dreams. 😊
Speaking of ballet, one of the first things I do upon arriving in any city is check out their local ballet school! I adore watching young dancers honing their craft, their movements echoing with grace and passion. Plus, it's a great way to learn about local traditions and maybe even snag some dance inspiration for my own performances. Today I have a class at the prestigious École de Danse de Paris - I am absolutely bursting with excitement to step into this Parisian ballet studio.
After class, the aroma of fresh bread and warm croissants will be my guide to the heart of Parisian charm! 🥐 I simply must stop at a quaint bakery for the best pastries Paris has to offer. It wouldn't be a proper Paris trip without indulging in those iconic sweet delights, would it? 😉
And then, my lovelies, comes the shopping spree! 💖 The streets of Paris are a fashion lover's paradise, overflowing with couture creations, vintage boutiques, and unique finds that beg to be twirled in.
I'm already making a list of places to visit - I can't wait to find some pink and pink-inspired treasures! Maybe a pair of pink ballet flats to compliment my outfits? Perhaps a floral printed scarf in shades of rose, peach and magenta? I can already imagine them all perfectly incorporated into my new pink tutu look. The Parisian air whispers of romantic possibilities for a budding ballerina's wardrobe. 💕
Later this evening, the City of Lights has something extra special planned. It's a special performance of "Giselle" at the Palais Garnier! One of my all-time favorite ballets! I simply can't wait to watch these incredible dancers come alive on stage! The grand theatre is breathtaking, every detail, every intricate curve screams elegance and refinement, I just love it! I can't wait to hear the orchestra swell with emotion, feel the story unfurl in a whirlwind of tutus and grace, and be swept away by the magic of this beloved masterpiece.
This journey is more than just about discovering beautiful cities and decadent treats, although those things are most definitely lovely. It's about embracing the joy of ballet, celebrating fashion, and sharing a little bit of my passion for life with all of you. 🩰

The Weekend Ahead!Saturday, the 16th of January is looking oh so Parisian chic! We have a special day planned!
Morning: École de Danse de Paris ballet class. This will be my first Parisian ballet lesson, and I'm excited to see the unique flair this esteemed academy has! I might be joining the Parisian ballerinas for some pliés and grand jetés. 🩰
Lunch: Parisian Patisserie perfection. My mission today? To sample the best pastries the city has to offer! The aroma of fresh croissants, delicious cakes, and exquisite tarts fills me with pure joy!
Afternoon: Shopping on the Champs-Élysées. An afternoon in the iconic Parisian avenue! Imagine me in my pink tutu with a shopping bag overflowing with Parisian treasures! 💕
Evening: "Giselle" at the Palais Garnier An incredible evening! The iconic opera house and a performance of a timeless classic – Giselle! A beautiful ballet and the highlight of my Parisian Saturday. ✨
