#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post Number 1104: Parisian Dreams & Pink Tutus! 🩰🗼🇫🇷
Bonjour mes amies! 👋 It's Saturday, the 20th of February, and I'm finally in Paris! I know, I know, you've been patiently waiting for this post - it feels like ages since my last Paris escapade, but I assure you, it's been worth the wait!
As you know, my heart flutters every time I step on a train to Paris - the thrill of leaving behind the rolling green hills of Derbyshire and heading towards the enchanting, romantic city of lights, just gets me every time. The Eurostar is my favourite way to travel; the journey is smooth, stylish and just so convenient. Plus, I get to wear my signature pink tutu on board, making even a crowded train journey a little bit magical. 💖
Parisian Whirlwind:
This trip is all about the experiences. I've got a jam-packed schedule of ballets, fashion, and Parisian delights to soak up. I even picked up the prettiest pink tulle scarf at the Gare du Nord station just to make my look extra Parisian. 😉
Today, my Parisian adventure kicked off with a magnifique ballet performance at the Palais Garnier. The grandeur of the Opera House left me speechless, and the performance itself, well, I was utterly transported. Seeing graceful dancers twirling on that stage, surrounded by such breathtaking architecture... It truly felt like stepping into a dream. My favourite moment was the ending scene where a spotlight shines directly on a ballerina, clad in a magnificent pink tutu, pirouetting in the middle of the stage - perfect!
A Tute-tiful Evening:
After the ballet, I indulged in a delicious dinner of escargots (yum!) and the creamiest onion soup at a charming little bistro near the Louvre. I felt so Parisian, even though my dinner companion was a rather talkative French poodle called Henri! 😂
Later on, we strolled along the Seine, the twinkling lights of the city reflecting in the river, before taking a picturesque evening walk across the Pont Alexandre III. I just love the energy of this city, even when it's lit up by moonlight!
Tomorrow’s adventures…:
Of course, a trip to Paris isn't complete without some shopping! I've got a list of shops to explore tomorrow, from chic Parisian boutiques to vintage stores, with a lot of pink tutu potential along the way! It's my mission to find the most stunning tutus in Paris. 😉
I also have tickets to a fantastic show - a unique blend of contemporary dance and street art that’s going to be an explosion of colour and creativity. I can't wait to see how this modern style plays out on stage.
Paris, you're a dream!
But don't worry, I'll be back with a whole new Parisian post next Saturday! Stay tuned for all the details of my tutus, shows, and fabulous discoveries. You're always welcome to join the #PinkTutuRevolution, mes amies!
See you all next week! 💋
Emma.
