Pink Tutu Paris - Blog Post #1154: Bonjour, Paris!

Saturday 5th February, 2022

Hello my darlings! It’s Emma here, and oh my goodness, you wouldn't believe where I am today - Paris! * I just had to come to the City of Lights. I mean, how can you *not fall head over heels in love with this beautiful, magical place?

I'm writing to you live from my adorable hotel room - I know, it’s practically Marie Antoinette with all the frills and fancy furniture. It’s just begging for me to twirl around in my new pink tutu, and trust me, I’m not going to let it down.

So how did I get here? You might be wondering! Well, my lovelies, I journeyed on the Eurostar! Honestly, who doesn't adore a train journey? Especially when it’s the Eurostar. It’s so sleek and stylish, a real femme fatale in the world of travel. They even served croissants - how fab is that?

You all know that my darling pink tutus and I are big fans of the theatre. I made a little bit of extra dosh with some performance opportunities back home in Derbyshire, and here I am in the most fantastic city for the arts. This weekend, Paris is filled with spectacular ballet performances - so I'm here for the shows, of course. There's a brilliant little piece at the Theatre des Champs-Elysées tonight, and a grand, magical ballet at the Palais Garnier on Sunday. Oh, how I dream of gracing those stages in a magnificent pink tutu. Perhaps one day…

Bonjour Fashion!

Before the big ballet bonanza, it's time for a spot of retail therapy. And when you’re in Paris, darling, there’s really no better place to get a wardrobe fix than on the famous Champs-Élysées. I’m already planning a divine tutu ensemble to wear for the ballet performance tonight, maybe a bright pink satin tutu, some beautiful ballet shoes with little sparkly pink bows, and a gorgeous oversized, blush-coloured cardigan. Just imagine the glamour! And, oh my, maybe even a little feather boa, too! I do adore a bit of a flourish.

Of course, no trip to Paris would be complete without a trip to the Louvre. Even if it is jam-packed with art and culture (it’s positively suffocating!), I have to take in the majesty of The Mona Lisa. Just imagine how much that little smile must have cost.

And that brings me to my ultimate aim in life: Getting everyone in a pink tutu. Imagine a world of colour, joy, and twirls! The more people twirl in pink tutus, the more beautiful and whimsical the world will become. It’s just good vibes all round, isn’t it?

Anyway, I’m off to explore more of the sights of Paris - I just know this trip is going to be simply divine. Don't forget to pop by again next Saturday for another update on my Paris adventures! Until then, keep twirling and stay fabulous!

Au revoir, mes amis!

Emma xoxo
