Pink Ballet Tutu Blog Paris France

#PinkTutuBlogParis - Saturday 2022-04-30 Exploring Paris

Bonjour from Paris, my darlings! 💖

This week I'm totally in love with Paris! You've gotta believe me when I say, it's as charming as you imagine, if not even more so! The Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, Notre Dame… and all those gorgeous cafes! Oh la la! You simply cannot visit Paris without being completely charmed. And let's face it, who doesn't adore a touch of Parisian flair? 🇫🇷

But my real mission for this trip isn't just about croissant sampling and admiring Mona Lisa's mysterious smile. It's all about spreading the pink tutu love! Every street corner, every historical landmark, every shop window, has the potential to be a platform for my signature pink tutu! It's all about inspiring people to step outside their comfort zone and embrace the playful joy of twirling in pink tulle! 😉

My Paris Adventure Begins

I've arrived in the city of lights via Eurostar, which, of course, I chose for the effortless glamour and charm of train travel. A glass of sparkling wine, a magazine about ballet, and a pink tutu for a good measure? Absolutely divine! It's like being transported back to a classic film - all romance and elegance. ✨

Arriving at Gare du Nord, that incredible feeling of anticipation filled my heart. My pink tutu was positively throbbing with excitement, it even seemed to sparkle with the Parisian light! 🗼

After checking into my charming little hotel, tucked away on a quiet side street near the Champs-Élysées, I couldn't resist slipping into my favourite tutu, a beautiful blush pink confection. I wanted to get a sense of the magic of the city, all around me - so what better way to start than a Parisian afternoon floating through the Jardin du Luxembourg? It was like being in a ballet dream!

The Ballet at Palais Garnier

Now, let's be honest, what's a ballerina's trip to Paris without seeing a ballet at the legendary Palais Garnier? This evening, I had the absolute pleasure of experiencing Le Corsaire, the very first ballet I ever saw all those years ago in Derbyshire, back when my little ballerina heart first discovered the magic of dance. I actually got teary eyed just watching the curtain rise! The incredible theatre, the stunning choreography, it felt like a perfect circle coming full circle. 🥰

I couldn't resist sharing a little piece of pink tutu magic with everyone, though, because I simply had to add a splash of my signature colour to the already glamorous setting! A flash of pink tutu amidst the beautiful gowns, shimmering suits, and dazzling jewels… pure fairytale stuff!

Exploring the Heart of Paris

On my second day, I woke up feeling absolutely invigorated after a long, but oh so lovely night of dreaming about all things ballet! (And a few lovely pastries I treated myself to). 😉 It was time to explore the heart of the City of Love! I picked up a beautifully adorned loaf of bread and a pot of creamy, delicious coffee from the local boulangerie (yum!) and took a slow, meandering walk through the Louvre.

Of course, I had to have my photo taken with the Mona Lisa. It's absolutely obligatory when you're a pink tutu aficionado. After all, you have to document the most magical moments of your journey. The funny thing is, there were other tourists there with their very own pink tutus! We all just had to have a little photo shoot, and a lovely sense of shared pink tutu love filled the air!

Shopping for a Touch of French Flair

No Parisian adventure is complete without a shopping spree! And this trip was all about adding a touch of French elegance to my own personal ballerina style. From vintage Chanel-inspired outfits (in shades of pale pink, naturally!) to classic ballerina flats, my heart skipped a beat with each new discovery. You really have to love the whole vibe of Paris.

Even better, I met the most adorable dog (wearing the cutest little pink bow) while window shopping along the Rue de Rivoli! We totally bonded over a shared appreciation for the finer things in life – pretty pink things!

A Parisian Pink Tutu Night Out

But enough about shopping - I just had to add a little touch of Parisian sparkle to my evening. I put on my most glamorous pink tutu, grabbed my sparkly bag and headed to the Théâtre de Châtelet for a mesmerizing ballet performance of Swan Lake.

I was simply blown away by the breathtaking sets and costumes, and the artistry of the dancers was phenomenal! There was just so much incredible talent on that stage! The whole performance made me feel as graceful and light as a ballerina should, and my pink tutu simply soared! 🩰

After the show, we took a wander through the beautiful Parisian night, a few glasses of delicious rose and a little Parisian treat or two. Honestly, who wouldn’t fall head over heels for a magical Parisian night? 😍

The Magic of the City

What's really fascinating about Paris, I've realized, is that every corner you turn is filled with inspiring sights. From breathtaking historical architecture to picturesque Parisian gardens, every step is a photo opportunity. And, let's face it, my pink tutu absolutely loves it. It's almost as if the Parisian spirit knows that the pink tutu belongs here. 💖

Finding Inspiration in Pink Tutu Paradise

Every moment in this magical city fills me with inspiration. I love observing the Parisian women with their elegant styles and effortlessly cool looks, a style that makes my heart sing. But I find inspiration everywhere: in the delicate lace patterns, the stunning colour combinations, and of course, the beauty of the City of Lights!

This whole trip is fueling my passion to spread the joy and confidence that comes with wearing a pink tutu! I believe everyone has a ballerina inside, waiting to be set free. So come on, ladies and gents, take a leap of faith and join me in this incredible dance of life!
