#PinkTutuBlogParis - Saturday 2022-05-07 Exploring Paris
Post 1167
Bonjour mes amis! It’s Emma here, back with another fabulous Parisian adventure! I’m still buzzing from last week’s whirlwind trip to the French capital, but you know me, always keen to keep the pink tutu energy going! Today's post is bursting with pink, fashion, and everything fabulous that Paris has to offer.
Now, who's ready to twirl right into the heart of this city of lights? I'll tell you what's been keeping my dancing shoes tapping!
The Magic of the Eurostar
This week, I packed my pink tulle goodness and set off from Derbyshire on a sparkling new Eurostar adventure! The journey is always a delight. Something about hurtling through the Channel Tunnel towards the French countryside gets me all giddy with excitement. This time, it felt extra magical because I got to watch a hilarious French comedy on the screen in front of me. (No spoilers, but let’s just say there was a lot of wine, laughter, and perhaps a tiny bit of scandal.)
Landing in Paris with a Tutu-Full of Energy
My Paris adventures started with a ballet class at the Salle Pleyel! Oh, my! The elegant studio with its wood floor, the talented dancers, the intoxicating air of Parisian art...it felt like a dream. After a fantastic session, feeling energized and happy, I sashayed my way to the Hotel Splendide Étoile, my chic haven in the heart of the city.
Fashion Shopping and a Ballet Surprise
I know I’m biased, but I swear Parisian shopping is next-level! Imagine this: exquisite window displays, charming little boutiques overflowing with stylish treasures, and the scent of leather goods lingering in the air. This week, my shopping finds were absolutely magnifique: a beautiful blush pink cashmere sweater (perfect for those chilly Parisian evenings), a pair of sassy gold heels that will have everyone doing a double-take, and a stunning floral headband that’s practically begging for a dance in the streets.
A Night at the Opera: A Perfect Ballet Performance
Now, let's talk about the cherry on top of my Parisian parfait! On Friday, I was absolutely thrilled to attend a performance of the Romeo & Juliet ballet at the Opéra Garnier. Imagine, gilded balconies, grand chandeliers, and the breathtaking story of star-crossed lovers unfolding on the stage. The entire performance left me feeling breathless and deeply moved. I even had the pleasure of seeing Polina Semionova, a phenomenal ballerina whose artistry absolutely blew me away! The passion and precision of every dancer on the stage was inspiring. I must say, the performers really made me wish I could take up the stage again! It made me consider attending the École de Danse de l’Opéra national de Paris. Maybe for my next Parisian adventure.
The Parisian Spirit
What makes Paris so special? Well, it’s more than just the breathtaking architecture, the charming cafés, or the fabulous fashion (though all those are fantastic). It’s the Parisian spirit – that je ne sais quoi that makes every day feel like a beautiful story waiting to unfold. Whether you're strolling along the Seine, exploring a hidden garden, or enjoying a picnic on the Champs-Élysées, you can feel the magic in the air. This is what makes Paris the ultimate destination for any pink tutu enthusiast, especially me!
Pink Tutu on the Champs-Élysées
Speaking of pink tutus, my latest obsession is wearing it out and about in Paris. People look at me with a bit of amusement, which makes me laugh. My aim is to inspire everyone to let their inner ballerina shine and try out a pink tutu at least once! It might just be the spark they need to live a more playful and adventurous life!
Next Week's Adventures:
That’s all for now, my fellow twirling friends! Until next week, I'm off to conquer another Parisian adventure.
Catch me next Saturday for another update on the www.pink-tutu.com blog. This week I am looking at all things art-related! I might just be visiting the Louvre! Maybe I will even attempt to paint with a pink tutu on...
Don't forget to subscribe, comment, and share your own pink tutu adventures!
Bisous,
Emma.
P.S. Be sure to follow me on social media for even more Parisian pink tutu magic! I’ll be posting snaps of my favorite shopping finds, dance classes, and all my latest ballet adventures!
