Pink Tutu Travels: Bonjour from Paris! 🩰🇫🇷 (Post #1197)

Oh la la, darlings! Emma here, back with another Parisian adventure to share from my favourite pink tutu corner of the world! This week I took the EuroStar – my favourite way to travel, honestly, it’s so glamorous – and landed right in the heart of the City of Lights, ready to immerse myself in all the culture, fashion, and – of course! – ballet that this fabulous city has to offer.

As always, I've got my trusty pink tutu packed, ready for some chic Parisian moments. You know I’m always on a mission to get everyone twirling in pink, and the French capital is the perfect place to inspire. (They do chic like nobody else, don’t you think?)

So let me fill you in on my whirlwind Saturday! It was such a busy one – but I wouldn't have it any other way. After all, the more you experience, the more pink tutu energy you radiate!

Breakfast in the 8th arrondissement:

First things first – breakfast! You know I love a good café au lait and a croissant. The locals told me to check out the adorable little patisserie on the Rue de Monceau. It was just bursting with colour – all the pastry swirls and glazes...I swear I saw pink meringue nestled among the treats! You'll have to trust me on this one, it was absolutely delicious. The perfect fuel for a day of exploring the City of Lights.

Morning Shopping Therapy:

Then, it was on to the most divine shopping street, the Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré. This place is like a dream come true for a fashionista! I had to pop into the gorgeous vintage boutique I saw in a magazine. You could literally get lost in there for hours!

And, of course, no Parisian shopping trip is complete without a stop at Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. There’s always something fabulously sparkly in pink hiding in those Parisian department stores. I’m going to need to make a return visit because I definitely needed a much larger bag this time!

Parisian Ballet Beauty:

In the afternoon, it was time for the ultimate Parisian experience: a balletic afternoon tea at the elegant Opéra Garnier. Seriously, darling, you have to try this! I treated myself to a delicious selection of pastries and a glass of Champagne as I watched a rehearsal for their next production of "La Bayadère".

I could almost feel the tutus twirling – I could just imagine myself waltzing with the dancers. Oh, I dream of one day dancing in this glorious place. Maybe one day! But in the meantime, it’s a wonderful way to enjoy a touch of the Parisian ballet scene - even if you're not in the wings yourself!

Evening Splendour: The Show Must Go On!

Later, I hopped on the Metrothe pink line is definitely my favourite (how convenient! - such a pink tutu enthusiast!), – and made my way to the historic Theatre de la Ville for a breathtaking performance of “Giselle”.

The dancers were exquisite – their movement so elegant and expressive. I literally shed a tear! (Okay, maybe I had a little champagne too)... and they really captured the romanticism and tragic story so perfectly. It was a reminder why ballet will always be my biggest passion!

Pink Tutu Power!

And even with a late-night showyou know I wouldn’t be a true pink tutu queen without a little shopping spree afterward! – I've had an absolutely incredible day in the City of Lights!

Paris truly has this amazing energy! Even the street art makes me feel like I’m part of a theatrical scene. Every corner you turn seems to be brimming with creativity! That’s why I feel like I can literally do anything when I’m here...it inspires me to keep pushing my pink tutu dreams.

Remember darlings, if you can imagine it, you can achieve it! So keep twirling...and keep spreading that pink tutu magic!

I’ll be back next Saturday with more Parisian adventures! Follow me at www.pink-tutu.com. And until then, let your heart soar high like the Eiffel Tower – or a pink tutu in flight!

Bisous, Emma x
