Pink Tutu Paris: Bonjour from the City of Lights! (Post #1214)

Bonjour mes amies! It's Emma here, your favourite pink tutu-clad ballerina, bringing you a fresh Parisian adventure straight from the City of Lights! I’m so thrilled to be writing to you from the heart of Paris – oh, how I've missed this enchanting city! As always, it feels like stepping into a fairytale, with every corner a scene straight from a ballet performance. And of course, I had to embrace the Parisian spirit with a brand new pink tutu – this one shimmering with the most exquisite sequins and a delicate floral design, perfect for dancing the night away under the Eiffel Tower!

I arrived yesterday after a thrilling journey on the Eurostar, gliding effortlessly through the picturesque French countryside. The carriage was adorned with chic velvet seats, perfect for slipping into a good book or simply enjoying the view whizzing past the window. Of course, my pink tutu, as always, sparked conversation and drew admiring glances from fellow passengers – perhaps I should start a “wear-a-pink-tutu” campaign on the Eurostar? Think of the delightful chaos!

I’m staying at a charming little hotel near the Marais, surrounded by beautiful boutiques and charming cafés – just the perfect spot for soaking up the Parisian energy. Today, my schedule is jam-packed with fun and fashion, all the while, channeling my inner ballerina with grace and, naturally, a touch of pink!

The Beauty of Parisian Ballet

First on the agenda is a ballet class at the illustrious Opéra Garnier! I’ve been dreaming of this moment for years – to dance amongst the elegance and grandeur of this historical venue. My heart is fluttering with excitement, and I can already imagine myself gracefully executing a pirouette, bathed in the soft glow of the magnificent chandeliers. This is a ballet lover's dream, and I’m certain this class will inspire new heights of artistry within me. I’ll be sure to share photos of my stunning ensemble and my most dazzling moves – stay tuned!

Shopping in Style: Parisian Fashion Galore

Later, I’m going to immerse myself in the glorious Parisian fashion scene. From vintage treasures to haute couture, Paris is a haven for style-conscious souls, and I can't wait to unearth some hidden gems. My eye is on a beautiful pink silk scarf – perfect for a Parisian picnic or a walk along the Seine. Of course, I'm always on the lookout for the perfect pink tutu accessory, so who knows what little treasures I might find! I'm excited to show you my finds and let you in on my style secrets, Parisian chic with a dash of pink, of course!

A Date with the Parisian Arts

Tonight, I’m seeing a mesmerising show at the historic Palais Garnier. The program includes excerpts from some of my favourite ballets, a celebration of ballet's captivating storytelling and sheer beauty. After all, what better way to truly experience the magic of Paris than through the enchanting world of ballet? I can already hear the music swelling, and I’m eager to be swept away by the artistry and drama on stage.

From Derby to the City of Lights

As a Derbyshire girl at heart, I always feel a thrill when exploring the vibrant beauty of a city like Paris. It’s a complete contrast to the charming English countryside, yet somehow both places evoke a similar sense of magic. And what a joy to share it all with you through my blog! I hope my stories and photos inspire you to embrace your own unique sense of style, to explore the world with a whimsical touch, and maybe, just maybe, to dare to wear a pink tutu!

This week, I've chosen a pink tutu with delicate, embroidered pink flowers and a delicate tulle layer that flows gently with each twirl. My pink tutu matches a floral print midi skirt and a lavender blouse that are oh so Parisian chic.
