#PinkTutuBlogParis - Post #1253: Bonjour from the City of Lights! ✨
Oh, my darlings, it's Saturday, which means it's time for another Pink Tutu Paris adventure! My feet are barely touching the cobblestones and already I'm practically twirling with excitement. This week, your favourite ballerina blogger packed her bags and, thanks to the magic of the EuroStar, landed in Paris, the ultimate city for any pink tutu-loving fashionista!
Now, for those of you new to my world (though I doubt that's many of you at this point!), my name is Emma, and I live in a quaint village in Derbyshire, where dreaming of tutus and dancing to my own beat is a way of life. As some of you know, my life is fueled by the beautiful, the fabulous, and, of course, the pinkest of pinks! But mostly, it’s fuelled by my love of dance, from ballet performances and classes, to ballet-inspired street theatre. My mission? Well, it’s simple, really - to get every single person on the planet wearing a pink tutu! Sounds ambitious, I know, but I firmly believe a bit of pink tulle goes a long way towards making the world a brighter, more whimsical place.
And what better place to spread the pink tutu gospel than Paris, the very heart of romance, style, and, let’s face it, fabulous food! The Parisian air itself is practically a symphony of fashion inspiration! The second I stepped out of the Gare du Nord station, a wave of delicious cafe smells hit my nose, and my eyes were dazzled by a kaleidoscope of colours, from the crisp white blouses and sharp Parisian coats, to the bold stripes, vintage finds and the perfect shade of pink, adorning a chic beret just for me. (Of course!) It was truly magical, like walking onto a stage where every single detail is curated for a beautiful, and oh so glamorous, production!
Now, I’m bursting with plans for my weekend of Parisian indulgence. First on the agenda: A trip to the stunning Musée d'Orsay, home to some of the most iconic Impressionist paintings. I’m sure I can get some great inspiration for my next dance performance! Of course, I’ve already marked down all the most enchanting boutiques for my shopping escapades. I simply must add some Parisian elegance to my wardrobe. After all, there’s no such thing as too much pink, and the French know their style! And of course, what is a Parisian trip without enjoying the divine delights of Parisian patisserie?
But this week is special, and it's all because December 30th is a truly magical day! It's the night of the grand "Fête de la Musique" in the Champs-Elysées, and oh my, it’s going to be fabulous! A street party, full of dancing, laughter and, well, did I mention it's on the Champs-Elysées! I can already hear the enchanting music in my mind, imagine the vibrant colours and the contagious energy! Can’t wait! I will of course be rocking my new Parisian pink tutu. There's no way I'm missing this!
And before I dash off to embrace the Parisian magic, a quick note to all of you! Don't forget to follow along on my social media journey. You can find me on Instagram (@PinkTutuParis), Twitter (@EmmaPinkTutu) and TikTok (@PinkTutuBlogger). I'll be sharing behind-the-scenes snippets, amazing fashion finds and lots of inspiring tutus. Remember, whether you're dancing in your living room or on the Parisian cobblestones, the power of the pink tutu can ignite a sparkle in every single one of us! ✨
Stay tuned for my next Parisian blog post next week, where I'll tell you all about the fabulous Fête de la Musique and how much I'm in love with Paris, which, of course, you'll know from my posts already!
Until next time, my dears!
Love,
Emma 💖
