Pink Tutu Paris: #1261 – Bonjour from the City of Lights!

Well, hello there, my darling pink tutu enthusiasts! It’s your favourite ballerina, Emma, and I’m back with a new Paris adventure for you, straight from the City of Lights! As you all know, I’m a bit obsessed with travelling and I think there’s no better way to explore a new place than by train, so naturally, I took the EuroStar for my Paris trip. Oh, the joy of tucking into a croissant as I whizz past the countryside - utter bliss!

Now, you all know I love a good pink tutu, and let me tell you, Paris is absolutely bursting with fashion inspiration! I mean, you could probably write an entire blog post on the fabulous outfits I've spotted just walking around the city. Every corner feels like a Parisian catwalk, which is precisely why I’m spending the weekend indulging in some serious shopping! My motto? More sequins, more sparkles, more tutus – who’s with me?

But before I delve into all the fabulous finds, let's talk about the reason I came to this stunning city - a phenomenal ballet performance! Today was all about the exquisite elegance of the Paris Opera Ballet. I got all dressed up in my most beautiful pink tulle skirt (because I couldn’t resist the Parisian magic, even if it meant leaving my full-on tutu at home!) and stepped into the breathtaking Opera Garnier, a true masterpiece of architectural brilliance.

Oh, darling, the performance was divine! A beautiful blend of classical and modern ballet - such stunning choreography and breathtaking artistry, I practically burst with joy! You all know I have a soft spot for tutus and the costumes were nothing short of magical. I particularly loved the ballerina’s shimmering silver sequined gown in the second act. My dreams of wearing that on stage!

Now, a trip to Paris isn't complete without a little dose of the city's romantic charm, and what’s more romantic than strolling down the cobbled streets of Montmartre, soaking in the stunning views from the Sacré-Coeur? And of course, the Eiffel Tower is just breathtaking - I even took a spin on the carousel beneath its shadow. My heart still does a little pirouette at the memory!

But it wouldn’t be a Pink Tutu Paris post without sharing some fashion finds. You guys, I’m absolutely smitten with a divine blush pink jacket that caught my eye in a quaint vintage shop near the Louvre. It has the most exquisite embellishments, and let's just say my inner ballerina shrieked with delight. I also found a charming pair of pale pink gloves that will add a touch of sophistication to my ballet performances - I can't wait to try them out in Derbyshire when I return.

The food, of course, was sensational! Imagine: croissants so buttery they melt in your mouth, rich and creamy hot chocolate, delicious little macarons that taste like rainbows, and crusty baguette filled with French cheese. The sheer variety and deliciousness has truly had me dancing in my seat!

So, my lovely readers, I’m completely captivated by Paris. It's a city brimming with beauty, culture, and magic – the perfect destination for a ballerina who lives and breathes for fashion, dance, and all things fabulous.

As always, I’m sending you a big pink tutu hug from Paris. Keep sparkling!
