Paris has always been on my list of must-see cities, and I'm not gonna lie, it was definitely a dream come true! Imagine a tutu-tastic voyage by Eurostar, followed by strolling the streets of Montmartre in my very own pink ensemble – talk about magical! ✨💖
But let's rewind a bit… This past week was all about finding that perfect balance of Parisian culture and my signature pink flair! 💃 I've been lucky enough to have my travels funded by my ballet performances back in Derbyshire – the folks at the Royal Ballet Theatre love a bit of pink and tutus, it seems! 😉
So, Paris, here we are! It was definitely the trip I needed. From the breathtaking architecture of Notre Dame to the exquisite craftsmanship of the Chanel boutique on Rue Cambon, Paris is pure magic! ✨💖 And of course, I wouldn't be a true ballerina blogger if I didn't check out the city's legendary dance scene.
Ballet Bliss at The Opéra Garnier:
Oh my goodness, let's talk about the Opéra Garnier! I felt like a princess stepping into a fairytale! The opulent architecture and grand design had me mesmerised. It was practically screaming for a pink tutu! 🙈 And the show? "Giselle" - simply stunning! The dancers were graceful, the costumes were intricate, and the music took me right back to my childhood ballet dreams.
Shopping Extravaganza on Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré:
Let’s be honest, what’s a Parisian adventure without a touch of shopping therapy? 😉 And I can't tell you how much I loved exploring Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré – the street of dreams! The elegant boutiques, the bespoke craftsmanship, the sheer decadence… I could have spent days just wandering through it all! Needless to say, a little bit of pink found its way into my wardrobe – and maybe even a new pair of ballet slippers… just for fun, of course! 💖
A Day in the City of Love with my Tutu:
Of course, a trip to Paris isn't complete without experiencing the city's magic on foot. My little pink tutu accompanied me on strolls through the Tuileries Gardens, where I fell in love with the stunning greenery, and onto the Champs-Élysées, where the vibrant energy had me dancing in the street! I couldn't resist taking a little spin around the Arc de Triomphe. My pink tutu, by the way, caused quite a stir! The Parisians seemed to love the idea of spreading a bit of pink joy throughout the city – talk about a mission accomplished!
A Bite of Parisian Delights:
I’ve gotta mention the food! 🤤 The buttery croissants, the creamy cheese, the divine chocolate… Paris, you're definitely winning me over with your delicious culinary creations! It's almost as good as a perfectly executed pirouette – if I'm being honest, the pastry I sampled in that little bakery just off Rue de Rivoli came pretty close! 😂
Fashion Finds and Pink Inspiration:
Now, the thing I loved about Paris was the sense of fashion and individuality – a bit like my love for my pink tutus! I felt empowered to experiment, try on a bit of everything, and find pieces that really expressed who I am. The city definitely fuelled my passion for the creative and unique – even inspiring some new pink tutu creations, which I’m already planning!
