Bonjour, mon chรฉrie! It's your favourite pink tutu-wearing ballerina, Emma, back with another fabulous blog post - this time, direct from the City of Lights! You betcha, this weekend, your girl's in Paris! I'm here for a whole week, embracing the romance and chic style of this magnificent city, all in a whirlwind of pink tutus and twirls!
Now, I'm sure you're all wondering how I managed to swing this trip to Paris? Well, guess who's got some killer ballet moves that are bringing in the big bucks?! That's right, this week, I had a smashing performance of Swan Lake at the Derby Theatre. And let me tell you, the applause and cheers were simply magical!
But enough about my accomplishments (okay, maybe not enough). Back to the big story โ I boarded the Eurostar with a smile as big as the Eiffel Tower itself, all dressed in my signature pink tutu, naturally. I've got to say, travelling by train is such a luxurious way to explore Europe. All the comfy seats, the incredible views zipping past the windows, and that delicious smell of freshly brewed coffee and croissants! Pure magic!
And guess what, Paris has already welcomed me with open arms! First things first, we went straight for the legendary Eiffel Tower. My first peek at this architectural masterpiece left me breathless. Seeing it rise up into the crisp Paris sky with the setting sun casting a golden glow on it, oh darling, I'm sure you'll understand this was pure picture-postcard perfect.
Of course, I had to have a celebratory macaroon or two (maybe even three!) to celebrate! It was the most divine pink macaroon with swirls of gold leaf - it practically melted in my mouth.
Now, we're all about spreading the pink tutu love, right? Well, in true pink tutu spirit, I'm making it my mission to find the most fabulous pink Parisian shops this week. Can you imagine all the delicious fashion and style finds we're going to uncover? Lace, sequins, and the perfect little Parisian dress โ it's gonna be magical!
And speaking of magical, we're catching the Paris Opera Ballet tonight! Now, I know you're all just dying to hear what they have on show! Well, get ready to have your minds blown, because the Paris Opera Ballet is putting on "Giselle" - the tragic love story with haunting music. The beauty and grace of the choreography, plus the chance to see this legendary ballet at the Palais Garnier, what a perfect way to celebrate my first night in Paris!
Before I go, I have a question for all of you fabulous followers: What's the first thing you would do in Paris? Tell me all about your favourite Paris memories in the comments below! Let's all share the joy and the love of Paris together.
I'm leaving you now, darling, because this Paris adventure is calling! I'll be back next Saturday, overflowing with more stories, stunning photographs, and, of course, an entirely new Parisian outfit featuring the perfect pink tutu. Until then, remember, there's always room in the world for more pink!
XOXO
