#PinkTutuBlogParis: Paris, je t'aime! - Post 1407 ??

Bonjour mes chér(e)s! ? Emma here, your resident pink tutu aficionado, reporting live from the City of Lights – Paris! This week's #PinkTutuBlogParis adventure was oh so special – I even wore a pink tutu on the Eurostar! Just picture me, a vision of fluffy tulle amidst the sleek modern carriages. It was like stepping straight into a fairy tale, darling. ?

A Magical Train Journey to Paris

There's nothing quite like the Eurostar, isn't there? The journey is just as magical as the destination. With my carefully chosen ballet outfit – a beautiful pale pink leotard paired with my trusty pink tutu – I felt ready to dance the Parisian streets! We zipped through the French countryside, and my imagination soared. I was almost expecting the Eiffel Tower to pop up mid-journey! ? I always get so inspired on train rides, ideas for ballet pieces, outfit combos, blog posts – it's all just a flurry of inspiration!

Pink Tutus in the City of Lights: Paris Day 1

And then, voila! The Eiffel Tower, majestic in all its iron glory, greeted me with open arms. The moment I stepped onto the platform at Gare du Nord, I knew I was home. My heart always leaps when I'm in Paris, it's just such a beautiful, inspiring city.

I wasted no time checking into my adorable little hotel. It felt like stepping straight into a French film with its quaint balconies and cobbled streets – absolutely dreamy! And I’d brought the perfect outfit for it, of course. My new lavender tutu was just perfect to wander the charming, narrow streets, its swirling layers whispering secrets as I explored the city’s magic.

First up, of course, had to be a proper Parisian experience: a flaky, buttery croissant with strong black coffee. I found a delightful little cafe with twinkling fairy lights, right near the Louvre. Perfect place to watch the world go by – it's truly a wonder to see the locals rushing to work while tourists snap photos with big smiles.

Then it was off to explore the Louvre. You could spend days there, couldn't you? I had my eye on the Venus de Milo – such a graceful sculpture, just like a ballet dancer frozen in mid-pose! But the Mona Lisa … what a legend! Everyone just wants to see her, even those who say they aren't interested in art. They have her in this little protected area, you just want to get her a comfy chair to rest on! ? But her smile is just so captivating – who could resist its allure?

In the afternoon, a little shopping treat. My first stop, the Marais district! I fell in love with a gorgeous pink dress with lace details – perfect for a night at the theatre! Paris is the ultimate fashion destination. And a lovely boutique with ballet shoes and accessories. I treated myself to a stunning pink pair with feathers – they will sparkle on the stage! ?

A Night of Ballet at the Opéra Garnier: A Magical Evening

No trip to Paris is complete without a night at the Opéra Garnier. Tonight's performance, "Giselle" – a story of love, betrayal and tragedy – brought me to tears! The ballerinas were ethereal in their tutus, their every move painting such a poignant story. It was an evening of pure magic!

Afterward, I enjoyed a glass of sparkling wine at a rooftop bar with views of the city. Paris at night is a different beast – all twinkling lights and whispering romantic tales.

Day Two – Ballet Class at L'École Internationale de Danse

Oh, you know I couldn't come to Paris without attending a ballet class! Today, I enrolled at L'École Internationale de Danse. What an experience! The teacher was lovely – her energy infectious. And, naturally, the studio itself exuded history and grace – with stunning mirrored walls, warm light and the most elegant barres! You can practically smell the passion and dedication in the air! And there was a good mix of students, too, from young dancers to seasoned performers – such a lovely community. I did feel a little intimidated at first, to be honest. These Parisian ballerinas were simply exceptional. But you know me, never one to back down from a challenge, especially in the pink tutu!

And finally… Pink Tutus everywhere? Sharing the love of ballet with the world.

One of my life’s goals, my dears, is to make wearing a pink tutu more mainstream. It shouldn’t be just for ballerinas, I believe it's a symbol of joy, beauty, and playful confidence! And guess what? It's catching on! Today, I even saw a group of Parisian women on a walk in the Jardin des Plantes wearing pink tutus! Imagine! My dream! ?

I shared with them that they should check out the pink tutu movement on www.pink-tutu.com - because wearing pink tutus is so much fun, I want everyone to experience it!

I'm sure my pink tutus, each more dazzling than the last, will become symbols of Paris, just as the Eiffel Tower and croissants already are! Until next time, darlings.
