A Pink Tutu Adventure Begins... By EuroStar!
This week has been a whirlwind of Parisian dreams and I'm finally sitting down to write this week's blog post, with a steaming cup of French coffee (okay, it's actually just from the hotel cafe - but hey, Parisian vibes, right?)
This trip to Paris was a long time coming. Ever since I was a little girl dreaming of tutus and swirling skirts, I've been captivated by the romanticism of Paris, its grand avenues, its historic monuments, and of course, its fashion. And this time, I was determined to experience it all in a pink tutu!
I had my sights set on the Eurostar, naturally. I mean, what could be more fabulous than hurtling through the English Channel in a bright pink tutu? You see, for me, travelling is not just about reaching a destination; it's about the journey itself, a chance to express my personal style in a unique way, a splash of pink against a grey world. And frankly, the Eurostar is a bit of a fashion statement in itself!
A Ballerina’s Dream: Performances and Shopping in the City of Love
So here I am in Paris, a city that practically oozes elegance and style, and you know what? It perfectly suits my pink tutu-clad self! This week has been packed with wonderful experiences, from watching ballet at the Opéra Garnier to indulging in the thrill of Parisian fashion boutiques.
As you all know, I'm a seasoned ballerina and the highlight of the week has been seeing "Le Corsaire" at the Palais Garnier, an opulent and romantic ballet that truly took my breath away. Watching those talented dancers flit across the stage, their grace and precision inspiring, was a real dream come true! I was mesmerised by the artistry and emotion of the ballet. The vibrant costumes, the intricate choreography, the beautiful sets and lighting – it was a sensory overload in the best possible way. And of course, I wore my most stunning pink tutu - what else could I possibly have chosen?
Then, there was the shopping! Now, I am not known for being subtle, especially not when it comes to my passion for all things pink, and I absolutely fell in love with all the boutique shops lining the charming streets of the Marais district. I indulged in a little shopping therapy at Merci and Anthropologie, snagged a gorgeous silk scarf from Hermès, and found the most delightful tutu-themed accessories at a little Parisian vintage store - who knew I could be a tutu connoisseur, but there I was! I found the perfect pink beret for my tutu, a statement headband with fluffy pink pom-poms, and even some adorable pink earrings to add that extra touch of magic to my look!
French Flair & Feminine Elegance
One of the things I love most about Paris is how the city embodies feminine elegance and charm. The way Parisians embrace their style, from the classic trench coats and Parisian chic of the fashionistas to the quirky vintage looks I spot in the cafes and boutiques - it’s utterly inspiring! And I truly believe there is a little bit of Parisian chic in every single one of us - it’s that joie de vivre, that confident flair, that willingness to express oneself through style.
Fashioning My Way Through the City
This weekend, I plan to wander through the charming cobblestone streets, perhaps pop into a delightful bakery for a croissant and some macarons (naturally, all pink!), and spend some time at the beautiful Jardin du Luxembourg.
And what am I wearing? You guessed it – a pink tutu! Today’s outfit is my favorite pastel pink tutu paired with a flowing white blouse, a light pink cardigan, and my pink beret – it's perfect for a day of Parisian adventures!
As I navigate the winding alleys, snap photos of enchanting Parisian scenes, and soak in the ambiance, I'll be spreading my love for pink tutus, hoping to inspire others to embrace their own unique style and sense of adventure.
Paris is for Everyone
The beauty of Paris lies not just in its iconic landmarks or stylish boutiques. It’s in the energy, the people, the stories whispered on every cobbled street. It’s a city that invites you to embrace your dreams, explore your passions, and find your own sense of beauty in the world.
This is Paris, and this is just the beginning of my Pink Tutu Parisian adventure!
