Oh la la! It's Emma here, back from another whirlwind week and this time it's from the most magical city on earth - Paris! The Eiffel Tower is twinkling in the distance as I write this, and I can already hear the soft strumming of a Parisian accordion echoing through the cobblestone streets. It truly is the city of love, romance, and… pink tutus! ?
This week has been a whirlwind of adventure, fashion, and all things Parisian! I packed my bags (with a few too many pink tulle accessories, of course!), hopped on the EuroStar, and within a blink of an eye, found myself waltzing through the Parisian streets.
For those of you who haven’t experienced the magic of the Eurostar, I highly recommend it! Imagine being whisked away on a luxury train ride through the countryside. There's something incredibly romantic about sitting back in a plush, comfy seat with a glass of bubbly, watching the scenery fly by. It felt like stepping into a movie!
As soon as I arrived in Paris, I couldn’t resist hitting the streets, which are practically an open-air fashion show! Paris has this incredible energy that just radiates chicness and style. Every single corner is bursting with beautiful architecture, delightful boutiques, and delicious-smelling bakeries. Even the pigeons seem to wear tiny berets!
Ballet Bonanza
This week’s highlight has to be attending a spectacular ballet performance at the iconic Palais Garnier. Imagine ornate gilded ceilings, plush red velvet seats, and the most breathtaking performances! The dancers were pure magic, twirling with such grace and precision. It was pure artistry and I couldn't help but be inspired to practice my own pirouettes in my pink tutu after!
Parisian ballet has such a rich history and it’s truly humbling to experience its captivating beauty firsthand. The Palais Garnier is simply stunning, and I’ve even spotted some incredible vintage fashion stores just down the street. So, not only do I get to see the world’s greatest ballet, but also to indulge in my love for fashion and vintage finds. What’s a girl to do? ?
Pink Tutus in the City of Love
Oh, did I tell you that I brought my favorite pink tutu with me to Paris? It’s been with me on all my Parisian adventures, from strolling down the Champs-Élysées to taking a romantic boat ride along the Seine. It’s definitely making a statement, with the French absolutely loving it. In fact, I even saw a few people rocking tutus themselves! Maybe, just maybe, I'm influencing a little Parisian pink tutu revolution! ?
Exploring the Parisian Heart
My little pink tutu has taken me on all sorts of exciting explorations this week:
- The Eiffel Tower: Climbing to the top of this iconic monument is truly unforgettable. The views are breathtaking and it's impossible to not feel a wave of romance sweeping over you as you admire the city from above. And yes, you guessed it - my pink tutu looked positively stunning with the Eiffel Tower as its backdrop!
- The Louvre Museum: Let's just say I was more captivated by the fashion and architecture of the Louvre than by the Mona Lisa herself. (Don't judge me!) I'm talking intricate carvings, massive sculptures, and enough golden details to make any tutu-clad ballerina blush. There's simply nothing else quite like it in the world.
Shopping Spree!: No trip to Paris is complete without some serious shopping. This week I’ve been falling head over heels for Parisian fashion, vintage finds, and of course, delicate ballerina shoes and pink tutus!
