Oh là là, mes chers amis! Paris, here I come! It's official – I'm back in the City of Lights, the epitome of fashion, romance, and everything pink and fabulous.
This week's Pink Tutu adventure started on a high-speed journey on the EuroStar. There's something magical about zipping through the countryside at breakneck speed, watching the scenery flash by like a colourful ballet. You just know that anything is possible when you're whizzing through the tunnels beneath the English Channel!
I, of course, had to don my favourite pink tutu for the occasion. Not just any pink, mind you. This one was a bespoke creation – layers of tulle in every shade of blush, peach, and salmon pink imaginable, all with a hint of iridescent glitter, of course. I paired it with a crisp white shirt, a delicate gold chain, and my trusty ballet flats, and I felt like a real Parisian ballerina, ready to conquer the world – or at least, the Champs-Élysées.
The EuroStar is always such a fabulously glamorous way to travel. You have to admit, there's nothing quite as elegant as slipping out of a sleek train carriage straight onto the concourse at Gare du Nord – especially when you're wearing a pink tutu, n'est-ce pas?
Ballet Ballet Ballet – Always The Focus!
First on my Paris agenda? Ballet, of course! This weekend is chock-full of theatrical treats. On Saturday night, I’m catching the iconic Bolero at the Opéra Garnier. The whole experience, from the opulent surroundings to the heart-stopping dance moves, is a pure symphony of artistic passion. And let's face it, nothing beats witnessing a powerful ballet in the most magnificent of Parisian theatres, dressed in my favourite pink tutu, feeling a little bit like a real ballerine myself!
And after the performance, the evening is all about shopping – for new tutus, of course! Paris is heaven on earth for a tutu aficionado like myself. I’ll be making a pilgrimage to my favourite store, "Le Tutu Chic" on Rue de Rivoli. I’ve got my eye on a new, shimmery pink tulle creation that would be absolutely perfect for the next gala.
Taking Time to Smell The Roses (and Wear Pink Tutus!)
While I am in Paris, there will be time for everything! Sunday is a perfect day for a stroll down the charming streets of Montmartre, taking in the sights, and sipping coffee at a cute cafe. And it's going to be a glorious day for fashion too. I’ve got my eye on a stunning blush pink scarf with intricate floral designs, the perfect accessory to elevate my weekend look.
