Hello darlings! 🩰💕 It’s Wednesday, which means it's time for another Prague post! I’m absolutely brimming with excitement to share my latest adventures with you – it’s been a week full of twirls, tutus, and all things utterly delightful! 💖
Last week, we left you at the enchanting Old Town Square. Now, get ready for an even more incredible experience, because we're going to talk about... drumroll... ballet! 🎻 I’ve been utterly charmed by the balletic history here in Prague – the city seems to be positively swimming in it! 🤩
Before I tell you all about the mesmerising performance I witnessed, I just had to show off my newest treasure – a vintage pink tutu, absolutely perfect for my little escapade. It has the most divine ruffles, a delicate shimmer, and a colour that practically begs to be twirled in the Czech sunlight! ☀️
You know how much I love the magic of a good tutu, but what makes it even better is discovering its story. I managed to track down the lovely lady who owned it before – a retired ballerina who performed in Prague many years ago. Apparently, she used to dance on the very stage where I'll be heading later today! 😮
The little café where we met is just perfect – surrounded by rose-filled terraces, it’s like stepping into a painting! We had the most wonderful tea, and I learned all about the incredible balletic history of the city, the incredible legacy of Prague’s dancers, and about how the art form has always played such an integral role in Czech life. 🌸
Talking of incredible legacy, you’re probably thinking: "What ballet performance are you heading to today, Emma?" 🤔
Today, darlings, I’m going to see the legendary Pink Tutu ballet. That's right, a whole ballet dedicated to my favourite garment! It’s supposed to be a stunning and innovative production that blends the grace of classical ballet with the dazzling theatricality of a modern, theatrical dance performance. It’s like an artistic feast for the eyes! ✨
The story goes that it’s a love story – a young girl with dreams of dancing in the biggest and brightest tutus – but she faces many challenges along the way. A heartwarming story, perfect for an autumn afternoon like this. I’m already imagining the sheer brilliance of it, and I know I’m going to be absolutely spellbound by the whole experience. 😍
Of course, I have been diligently researching Pink Tutu since my arrival in Prague. I'm always thrilled when a ballet show makes me really think about the beautiful history of this magnificent dance. The original Pink Tutu ballet was a revolution in dance! This time it's being performed in the heart of this amazing city, which just adds a special element to the production. I know that even after seeing the show I’ll be thinking about its amazing legacy for weeks to come. 💕
Talking about thinking – have you thought about your tutu wardrobe yet? You just can’t have too many tutus, and the selection here is exquisite. I'm absolutely planning on buying a few, maybe even another vintage one if I can find another gem.

I've got the perfect pink ensemble chosen, complete with a statement pair of sparkly pink shoes, and the most darling pink shawl. I’m all about a statement of pure pink love! I simply cannot wait to see this magical performance, and then maybe, who knows, a little more exploration of this breathtaking city. Perhaps I'll even stumble upon a hidden treasure, or discover an adorable café! I'll be sure to tell you all about it tomorrow! 🥰
