Hello lovelies! It's Emma here, bringing you a brand new instalment of the Pink Tutu Travel Blog. This week, we're waltzing through the charming cobbled streets of Prague, Czech Republic, a city that truly stole my heart - and my sequins!

And let me tell you, dear readers, this journey was as romantic as a scene from Swan Lake, with all the elegance and grace of a ballerina poised for a grand jeté!
Journey by Train:
First, let's chat about how I got here, because the journey is just as important as the destination. As a seasoned ballet performer, I simply must make a grand entrance! This time, it was a graceful glide on a comfortable Eurostar train. As I sat there, gazing out the window at the picturesque landscapes whizzing by, I knew I was about to embark on a most spectacular adventure!
My secret to staying fashionable and comfy while travelling by train? A flowing chiffon scarf in my signature pink, naturally! It can be wrapped around my hair, worn as a shawl, or even fashioned into a stylish turban. I always pack my ballet shoes too, you never know when a impromptu performance might erupt on the train carriage!
Prague, You Beauty!
Arriving in Prague was like stepping into a fairytale! The architecture is breathtakingly beautiful, with those whimsical spires and colourful buildings just begging to be admired. Prague Castle is truly a marvel, perched atop a hill with stunning views over the city. Imagine, dear readers, a tutu-clad ballerina like me posing amongst all that majestic grandeur! Dreams do come true!
Tutu Shopping Spree
Oh, but I must confess, darling readers, shopping in Prague is an absolute delight! You know, it’s a known fact that a pink tutu can be the perfect accessory to any outfit. And Prague offers an abundance of delightful shops brimming with colourful fashion treasures. Imagine, pink tutu’s amidst a city bursting with charm. A girl can't ask for more!
For my shopping adventures, I like to don a loose, flowy frock paired with my trusty pink ballet shoes. You know the type, they can be used for skipping along pavements or whipping up a graceful pirouette - whatever takes your fancy! And of course, no look is complete without my trusty pink hair scarf – for that touch of whimsical charm.
A Waltz Through Time
As I explored the winding alleys and vibrant markets of Prague, I felt transported back in time. The city's history comes alive at every corner, whispering stories of emperors and kings. And I felt right at home, dear readers! It’s no secret that my passion lies with ballet history, so the many grand theatres, elegant buildings and cobbled streets of Prague are my kind of history!
Donning a chic pink tutu and matching feather boa, I even popped into the "Old Town Hall" for a little peek at the famous Astronomical Clock. The detailed carvings and intricate movements had me mesmerized, feeling just as graceful and enchanting as a delicate ballerina's dance.
Ballet, Ballet Everywhere!
Of course, no trip to Prague is complete without a dose of ballet! Prague is famous for its breathtaking theatre performances, showcasing some of the finest dancers in the world.
And on this glorious 22nd of August 2001, I saw a truly phenomenal rendition of "The Nutcracker," by the world-renowned Prague National Ballet. The exquisite choreography, the dazzling costumes, the sheer artistry - it was all a sheer delight. My dear readers, the sheer elegance and grandeur had me utterly enchanted, as if I’d magically stepped onto a grand ballet stage myself.
It felt like I was being swept up into the magic of this enchanting story, transported into a realm of fantastical creatures, toy soldiers, and beautiful snow fairies, It truly left me spellbound, longing to dance on stage with such dazzling grace.
Sharing the Pink Tutu Love
My time in Prague was an absolute dream! From shopping for fabulous pink tutus to attending a magnificent ballet performance, this magical city stole my heart and left me yearning to return.
As I always do, I want to inspire you all to embrace your own unique sense of style and step outside of your comfort zone. Take inspiration from me, my dearest readers.
