Prague, My Love, and a Pink Tutu - Blog Post #432

Hello my darlings!

It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another post from your favourite pink-tutu-clad traveller! This week, I'm whisking you off to the enchanting city of Prague. Let me tell you, this place is simply dreamy! cobbled streets, gothic spires, and a river that flows right through the heart of it all. Honestly, it's like stepping out of a fairy tale!

Now, I know what you're thinking - a tutu in Prague? It sounds like a peculiar combination, doesn't it? Well, let me tell you, there's something about this city that just makes me want to twirl. Maybe it's the whimsical architecture, maybe it's the vibrant atmosphere, or maybe it's the fact that I can buy a delicious pink pastry on every corner.

But before we get into the details of this magical city, let's talk about my journey here! Remember that delightful horse ride across the rolling Derbyshire hills? It felt straight out of a children's book, complete with windswept hair and a rosy glow from the sun! The train journey itself was just as exciting - I swear I even spotted a cute pony in the field just beyond the window. Oh, how I do love my travelling adventures!

A Touch of Pink in Prague

Once I arrived, Prague instantly stole my heart. Everything about it is so beautiful! The Charles Bridge with its charming street performers, the Prague Castle, the Old Town Square – I swear I saw a few "pinch me" moments throughout my exploration! I also found myself completely drawn to the vintage clothing shops. One even had an entire rack of pink tutus! It was practically destiny. Of course, I couldn't resist purchasing a few myself, just to complete my Parisian-meets-Prague ensemble!

Ballet in the City of Dreams

And speaking of destiny, my trip wouldn't have been complete without experiencing some magnificent ballet. This week, I saw the most exquisite performance at the National Theatre. Imagine my delight! The graceful movements of the dancers, the sheer beauty of the costumes, and the emotion conveyed through their every step left me utterly enthralled. And the icing on the cake? The performance was actually based on the life of a famous 19th-century ballerina! Of course, I made sure to snap a few photos with my fellow tutu-enthusiasts before leaving the theatre. You know me - always eager to spread the pink tutu love!

The Pinkest Spot in Prague

No trip to Prague is complete without visiting the enchanting Petřínská rozhledna. It’s the famous “pink” Eiffel Tower in the city, offering a truly awe-inspiring view of Prague. Now, I can't guarantee that it’s literally pink (although I think it should be!) but it certainly reflects my pink heart with all that romantic, fairytale atmosphere!

Shopping for My Heart's Desire

Oh, the shopping! One day, I decided to venture into the maze of little streets in the Old Town. Each shop, each stall, seemed to whisper sweet temptations in my ear! I snagged some beautifully crafted pink enamel earrings and a truly charming pastel pink book filled with ballet quotes. Don't forget to look for my Instagram post showcasing this stunning Prague find - it's a treasure!

Tutu and Talk - Pink in Prague

I've made some lovely friends in Prague – each as fabulous as the last! We even had a little pink tutu photoshoot by the Charles Bridge! Oh, it was so much fun! All smiles, all pink, all fabulous! I mean, who can resist a good pink tutu? Certainly not these delightful people!

Until Next Wednesday…

Now, I'm already packing my pink tutu bags for my next grand adventure! Who knows where this little ballerina will end up next week? The world is my stage, and the tutu is my costume.

But one thing's for sure, no matter where my journey takes me, I’ll always be searching for the perfect pink tutu and sharing all my discoveries with you! Remember, life is a stage, darling, so make sure you’re always wearing your pink tutu with a smile.

Until next week, stay pink and fabulous!

Love,

Emma
