Prague, My Love, and a Pink Tutu Tale! 💕🩰

Hello lovelies, and welcome back to Pink-Tutu.com, your one-stop shop for all things pink and twirly! Today is Wednesday, which means it's Prague time! I’ve been beavering away getting ready for my weekly blog post. You'd be surprised at the amount of prep it takes to get my pink-tutu-tastic ideas into the digital world, but don't you worry, the effort is all worth it for my wonderful pink-tutu-loving readers.

This week is post number 524 – a whole year's worth of posts on my wonderful adventure around the world! And can you believe I've been to Prague all this time? Well, believe me, this week’s post is absolutely choc-a-bloc with all things Prague and, of course, a delightful sprinkling of my favourite, pink tutus! 🩰 💖

Prague, a Fairytale City!

I arrived yesterday, after a long but lovely train journey from Derbyshire, my charming hometown. I just love those countryside views that whizz past when you're travelling by train. Such beautiful greenery! There was even a delightful pony I saw grazing beside the tracks - they're the most adorable creatures. I swear they smiled at me as we went past. I'm a real country girl at heart, even if I do love me a bit of glitter and a fab pink tutu!

Oh, Prague… where to even begin? This city is just simply stunning. A real mix of historical buildings, cobbled streets, and magical charm that could melt your heart. Even just stepping off the train, I felt the excitement bubble within. It's just brimming with character and atmosphere. Prague really makes you feel like you’ve stepped straight into a fairytale! ✨

Finding My Perfect Pink Tutu for the Prague Ballet!

Speaking of fairy tales, this weekend I’m going to the ballet. I absolutely cannot wait for it! It's the most wonderful feeling to dress up in my fanciest clothes and see the beautiful ballerinas glide across the stage. This time I've even treated myself to a new pink tutu, complete with sequins and layers of tulle. You know how I love a good pink tulle! This one was an absolute steal from a shop on the Old Town Square. The owner, an older lady with a real twinkle in her eye, told me a story about her granddaughters' pink tutus and how much they loved ballet. She actually helped me choose the perfect pink for me! Honestly, I felt like I'd met a fairy godmother! ✨

This shop was full of amazing finds, and I just had to grab a new hat too! I don't even have a hat for my Pink Tutu website logo, and with the incredible variety of fabulous hats available, I knew I'd find my perfect pink hat right here in Prague. Now my website can have its own chic hat collection, inspired by Prague and the loveliest shops in the city! 🥰

Prague: A Haven for Ballet History!

Prague’s history is a bit like a stunning ballet performance – full of drama, excitement, and captivating elegance. I actually did some research and learned about the history of ballet in Prague. It's really fascinating. The very first ballet was performed here back in the 16th century. Just imagine that! I almost tripped over in excitement while walking past the magnificent theatre, Prague State Opera. There was so much energy flowing through that place, a truly exhilarating feeling! I had to take a selfie, with a beautiful pink tutu on display in the foyer. My selfie will have to wait until my next post, as I didn’t have time to change into my perfect pink tutu, so this is just a little teaser! 😜

The Food! Oh, the Food!

Speaking of excitement, you simply have to talk about the food. I don't think my stomach has ever been so excited before! And what better way to fuel a long day of tutu-ing, exploring and shopping than with a delicious slice of local Prague cheesecake? Honestly, I could just eat this every single day. There's a cafe near my hotel with the most divine, softest cheesecake - all melt-in-your-mouth goodness. You simply can’t visit Prague and not indulge in a little slice! I'm definitely going to have one (maybe two!) again later this evening!

Dance, Eat, and Travel! A Week in Prague!

And speaking of eating, I've also tried their famous trdelník, the traditional pastry that looks like a big, delicious, twirly cinnamon log! It reminded me of the twirling in my ballet classes - that graceful, gentle twirl as you rotate slowly, getting your balance just right. Maybe that's where the idea came from? 🤔 I've been to the ballet performance already! (more on that next week), shopped for more amazing finds (just wait and see!) and explored every little nook and cranny I could. Honestly, I think this week will just not be long enough. I wish I could pack more time into each week.

*It’s Time to Pink-Tutuify Your Life! *

As you can probably tell, my adventures have been pink tutu-ful and fabulous. The people in Prague have been lovely too. There is just something special about Prague - a mix of tradition, modernity and fairytale vibes. Even when I went shopping in a traditional market yesterday, all of the stall owners kept offering me lovely pink ribbons to tie in my hair. 🎀 This city has been one long, luxurious waltz! 🩰 💖

But as I leave the cobbled streets behind (briefly, at least!) to hop on that train back to England, I already can’t wait to plan my next Prague adventure! In fact, it’s already been added to the Pink Tutu diary. I've been planning all my trips in advance, and so much has been booked already – this year has been absolutely jam-packed with tutu-tastic travel! ✈️ 🌎

And as I said last week, don't forget – Pink Tutues are for everyone. We are not a fashion statement, we are a lifestyle - pink tutus just make everyone happier. It's true! I think we all need a bit more pink tutu magic in our lives. And what better way to start than with a pink tutu adventure? 💫

Stay tuned, my dearest Pink Tutu friends!

I’ll catch you on the flip-side next week for more pink tutu adventures and more exciting stories about the magnificent world of ballet! 💖

Until then, Emma xx
