Let's rewind. Remember how I mentioned I’m a firm believer in the joys of train travel? Well, this trip was a delightful chug across Europe. I felt like a character straight out of a vintage Agatha Christie novel – imagine me with a pink beret and my signature tulle fluttering in the breeze as the countryside whizzed by. Oh, the charm of a good railway adventure!

I arrived in Prague feeling like a princess stepping into a fairytale. The city’s ancient architecture, cobbled streets, and whimsical charm immediately enchanted me. But hold on! Prague wasn’t the only enchanting element. The first thing I spotted in the bustling train station? A tartan shop with the most gorgeous selection of kilts and kilts accessories I’ve ever seen. Can you imagine? Tartan and tulle, a fashion pairing born in the heart of Europe! It's a sartorial masterpiece I simply couldn't resist! Of course, no trip to Prague would be complete without a dose of ballet. I simply adore discovering new performance styles and seeing how dance adapts to different cultural nuances. On the night of 3rd December, I was lucky enough to catch the National Theatre's production of Giselle. The theatre itself is an architectural marvel – it felt like being transported back to the romantic era. The dancers were captivating – the choreography was truly magical, and the music, oh the music! It left me breathless and filled with the kind of awe only true art can inspire.
The Bohemian Dreams of Prague
Exploring Prague’s bohemian vibes was like stepping into an art gallery! The city brims with creative energy, especially in the artistic haven of the Old Town Square. From vintage shops overflowing with Parisian-style fashion to cafes adorned with eccentric murals, each corner had a new discovery waiting. And speaking of discoveries, have you seen the beautiful stained glass windows? They’re like storybooks come to life, just stunning.
A Fashion Adventure Fit for a Queen
A fashion pilgrimage is simply a must in Prague. The city’s cobbled streets are lined with independent boutiques boasting everything from designer dresses to traditional Czech embroidery. Oh, the fashion! Finding a Pony in Prague: A Fairy Tale Twist
Wait for it! As I ambled through Prague, I saw it, I saw it with my own eyes! You know how I love horses, right? So imagine my delight when I discovered a cute little stable right in the heart of the city, a haven for riding horses, specifically a cute, fluffy pony named Princess. She was so gentle, it felt like a scene from a movie – twirling on my tutu and cuddling Princess as the sunshine kissed Prague.
Back Home with Prague in My Heart
Prague stole my heart – it was a city that embraced my love for all things graceful, magical and elegant. From its breathtaking architecture and vibrant art scene to its ballet spectacles and adorable ponies, it truly was a fairytale experience. Now back in England, my heart is full of memories of that dreamy escape, and you can bet, I'll be reliving them all as I waltz through my tutu-filled world!
