Prague Post #726: A Pink Tutu Ballet Bonanza!
Bonjour, my dearest tutu enthusiasts! It's Wednesday, and that means another dazzling dose of pink and a sprinkle of tulle from your favourite tutu-loving traveller, Emma! I’m so thrilled to be writing to you from the heart of Prague, a city overflowing with history, charm, and let’s be honest, some rather delightful shops!
This week, I've been whisked away on a delightful adventure to the heart of Europe, all thanks to my beloved ballet! I snagged a couple of performances, one right here in the stunning, historic Prague State Opera house, which is quite literally breathtaking – it’s dripping in velvet and gilded detailing.
Now, Prague holds a special place in my heart as the birthplace of the waltz, and there's a certain magic here that dances on the air. I had the opportunity to experience the beautiful artistry of ballet here on March 25th, a date that shall be forever etched in my ballerina-brain as a momentous occasion.
My Day in Pink Tulle Perfection
Picture this: I arrive at the Prague State Opera house – a pink tutu of course! Honestly, I was practically glowing with pink tulle in this majestic building, feeling like the epitome of romanticism and ballet charm! Inside, it felt like a fairytale. Grecian marble statues gazing down, the sweet aroma of ageing oak wood, and the excited buzz of other ballet devotees.
The show was breathtaking – a stunning classical production with all the passion and power you would expect from the greats of European ballet. It reminded me that there’s a true magic to a well-rehearsed performance.
Pink Tutu Exploration: Prague Shops & Delights
But, let's be honest, even the most glorious ballet performance can't fully satisfy my love of exploration. So, in between twirling and appreciating the sheer magnificence of Prague’s architecture, I spent hours flitting around the boutiques, soaking in the European fashion scene and searching for the perfect Parisian beret (in pink, naturally).
This trip wasn’t just about the ballet, darling! It’s also about embracing the European charm – the cobbled streets, the friendly locals, and yes, the incredible pastries (especially the ones dusted in a generous amount of pink sugar). There’s a unique feel in Prague that draws you into a slower, more charming rhythm, making it truly magical.
Prague: A Tulle-Filled Love Letter
You know me – it's all about pink tutus! So, I can't tell you enough about the Prague ballet. There's something undeniably charming about seeing it here in a city steeped in romance, beauty, and historical grandeur. The waltz originated here! It’s so full of whimsy and romance, much like a perfectly-designed, twirling-tutu ballet outfit.
So, if you're looking for a touch of magic in your life, my dear tutu enthusiasts, Prague awaits. Just don’t forget to pack your favourite pink tutu – you'll need it to soak up the romantic spirit of the city and embrace the twirling wonders that await!
The Prague Tulle Tip:
Don't miss out on a wander through the Old Town Square. This place is alive with culture – from traditional music playing in the street to artists selling their colourful masterpieces on every corner.
Until next week, remember, it's all about spreading the love of the pink tutu!
Lots of love,
Emma xoxo
