As you know, my dear readers, I always choose the most romantic way to travel - and for this adventure, I took a leisurely train ride from my charming Derbyshire home, stopping for delicious tea and crumpets along the way (a must!). The swaying carriages, the whispering wind through the countryside, the smell of warm tea – it was pure bliss, you see. It's all about the journey, my dears!
A Touch of Bohemian GlamourI arrived in Prague feeling like a princess ready for a royal ball. The cobbled streets, the pastel-hued buildings, and the twinkling river - it’s like stepping into a storybook! But it's the people who really add to Prague’s unique charm. From the chic ladies sipping lattes in their fabulous frocks to the charming gentlemen in velvet jackets – Prague embraces the elegant and the quirky.
Of course, I was itching to explore the shops. After a delightful afternoon browsing Prague's enchanting vintage boutiques and discovering hidden treasures in their independent designer shops, I was lucky enough to stumble upon the most fabulous pink satin top – imagine my delight! I couldn’t resist grabbing it; it was simply made for this city, and I know I'll be twirling in it for many an occasion.
Ballet Dreams Come TrueAnd now, for the pièce de résistance! This evening, I’m seeing the Ballet Nacional de Cuba perform a spectacular production of "The Sleeping Beauty" at the glorious National Theatre.
Oh, the sheer grandeur! Imagine ornate chandeliers dripping with sparkling crystals, velvet seats, and the anticipation of witnessing the grace of the dancers.
