Prague: Tutu Travels – A City of Magical Moments!

Hello lovelies! Emma here, reporting live from the enchanting city of Prague. As you know, Wednesdays are for pink tutus and Prague adventures, and I'm just bursting with excitement to share all the dazzling delights this week has brought!

This week's Prague blog marks post number 1068 - how time flies when you're dancing your way through Europe! It's truly a dream come true to be able to explore the world and share my love of ballet, tutus, and all things pink with you. As you may know, my travels are funded by my ballet performances. Each performance brings me closer to my next adventure! This week's enchanting journey has been filled with ballet shows, historical sights, and, of course, the finest shopping Prague has to offer!

A Tutu Dream in Prague

Prague is a city steeped in history, and you can feel it in every cobblestone street and medieval tower. As I explored the city's stunning architecture, my imagination ran wild with images of princesses and ballerinas dancing through the centuries! It felt as if I had stepped into a fairytale, with each turn bringing a new wonder. The city's charm, combined with the stunning sights, made me feel like a graceful ballerina floating through a grand and historic stage! I was truly living my dream in a beautiful pink tutu.

My Love Affair with Prague Ballet

You already know I adore ballet. It’s the essence of my soul! I truly believe ballet has a power that connects us all – a shared passion for beauty, elegance, and expression. And Prague's ballet scene certainly doesn't disappoint.

On Wednesday evening (25th November 2015), I graced the prestigious National Theatre with my presence, adorned, of course, in a blush pink tutu with sparkling sequins that glimmered like the Prague Christmas markets, a scene I’d love to explore during December! Oh, it's the most amazing theatre! Built in the 19th century, its ornate design is almost as enchanting as the ballet itself!

Ballet Dreams Under a Velvet Sky

This week’s performance was Swan Lake, and I was captivated by the graceful choreography. Each pirouette and arabesque seemed to float with an ethereal beauty, transporting me into a world of enchanting dreams. The sheer power and emotional depth of the dancers brought the story to life, touching my heart with a bittersweet magic. Even I was caught up in the excitement! And of course, the costumes! I simply adore a beautiful ballet costume, the classic tutus for the swans, and the dark majesty of the black swan, each one meticulously designed.

After the ballet, I found myself captivated by the energy of the city, so vibrant, lively and bursting with creativity. There was such a love for dance and theatre here. Prague's streets pulsed with a creative rhythm, making it a city where inspiration can be found on every corner! I truly believe that a pink tutu is the key to unlocking happiness – just wait and see!

A Shopping Spree in Paradise

What is a trip to Prague without indulging in some of the delightful shopping? Let me tell you, it's a shopaholic's dream! From exquisite antique shops to chic boutiques, Prague has it all! I simply adored browsing the vintage lace and the delightful little shops filled with charming, hand-crafted items. A pink tutu truly needs some gorgeous accessories, and what better place to find them than Prague!

Onward to New Adventures!

As my Prague adventure comes to an end for now, I already have my next ballet escapade planned. I'm eagerly awaiting my trip to Vienna next week! My diary is full of magical ballet performances, and of course, I'll be sure to bring along my trusty pink tutu and share my journey with you.

Keep an eye out for my next post here on pink-tutu.com, and don't forget to follow me on my adventures through the enchanting world of ballet and all things pink! Until then, may your days be filled with grace and happiness, and don't forget to twirl a little!

And just one more thing! Did you know that the first documented pink tutu was created in Paris in 1887? Isn't it a delightful thought? I adore that little bit of ballet history, so I always like to share fun little facts with you all. Maybe this information will spark your own tutus journey!
