It's Wednesday, which means it's time for another instalment of my adventures from my favourite place on Earth: Prague! You've seen my ballet photos from Rome and my London outfit posts, but Prague holds a special place in my heart, just as Paris does for those seeking Parisian chic.
My trusty pink tutu and I are in Prague for the entire month of August. As soon as the school term ended, I packed my tutu suitcase, grabbed my trusty fluffy pink dressing gown and made for the station, leaving the Derbyshire Dales in a puff of pink tulle. Honestly, there's no better way to travel than by train! So relaxing and stylish, and I don't have to worry about airport security confiscating my pink ballet slippers!
Oh, did I tell you? I actually found a little shop here that specialises in the most exquisite, fluffy pink dressing gowns! Honestly, darling, you haven't lived until you've swanned around your hotel room in a cloud of pale pink silk! It's pure luxury! You just know that a fabulous pink tutu needs the most exquisite accompaniment. And for me, nothing is more glamorous than a dressing gown fit for a prima ballerina!
Prague: A Ballerina's Paradise
Prague, oh Prague! I know I've mentioned it before, but you just can't overestimate how wonderful it is for a ballerina like me. It's absolutely bursting with ballet history, stunning architecture that inspires, and oh, the shopping!
You know, a ballet tutu is all about making a statement, and Prague is no different. Every street, every corner is oozing with fabulous design. There are even workshops selling gorgeous antique ballet shoes, perfect for a ballerina on the go! You simply must bring a huge, oversized luggage trolley for all the wonderful ballet memorabilia, darling! And of course, every hotel room in Prague should come with a dedicated tutu hanger for a traveller such as myself! I have been busy scouting for fabulous tutus here - Prague's markets are like a tutu wonderland!
The Opera House and That Fabulous Pink Dress
Well, where do I start, darling?! Today I spent the day flitting between Prague's legendary opera house and the famous ballet company - the one that every ballet lover simply has to see. You can imagine my excitement! It's even better than the Paris Opera! Well, at least I've heard the Parisian Opera has quite a lot of serious ballet rules... But, darling, you know I don't do rules! (That's not me being naughty, darling, but that's simply a tutu truth!)
As I wandered through the Opera House - ooh, how majestic it is! It reminded me so much of the fabulous dance halls back in my old stomping ground of Derbyshire... sigh, memories! Well, let me tell you, this beautiful old Opera house really is a ballerina's dream come true.
Imagine this: the grand staircases, the elegant corridors, the chandeliers shining down from the sky! Imagine being the main attraction at a gala, gliding down those staircases, a delicate ballet swan... My tutu knows the perfect way to make the grand entrance! Honestly, my pink tutu is simply radiant! You know that the first impression you make is always the most important, darling. And that's what it's all about - that unforgettable wow factor.
Tonight, the ballet is absolutely spectacular - it is the place to be for any true ballerina! (Actually, my favourite dance floor is a real wooden dance floor - ooh, it just has that extra touch of vintage glamour. Maybe one day we'll get to visit the Derbyshire town of Bakewell for its very famous ballroom. Well, we must, don't we?).
Prague Ballet: So Elegant
My little pink tutu, however, does look particularly amazing amongst all the beautiful costumes and elegant dresses for tonight's show. I wore the perfect dress - pink, naturally! - with intricate embroidery that made me feel like a dancing fairy, just the way my heart desires!
Of course, it is crucial to choose the right shoes for such a special event - these elegant, stylish, and incredibly comfortable pointe shoes made my toes very, very happy. And, of course, you just can't leave out the pink tights! Pink and ballet just go together, like sunshine and laughter. Always.
Dancing Through Prague
When I really want to see a city - its people, its vibe, all of it - all the real heart and soul - I put on my ballerina shoes and go for a walk through the city centre! My pink tutu gets lots of attention! Lovely!
It just screams, 'look at me' and 'I'm here to enjoy the city'! That was my mission today! There's nothing better than exploring a new city, finding that hidden gem boutique with the most perfect accessories to complement a ballet costume, or finding that cute little café with the most divine, creamy, heavenly hot chocolate and little cakes, made just for a pink tutu princess! My pink tutu and I adore discovering the secrets that each street in Prague whispers to us - the vibrant, bohemian spirit. The history seeps into you with every cobbled stone. It truly is a ballerina's haven. The people here are warm, and so lovely and welcoming. And of course, they love the colour pink! Honestly, every time I look down I spot another fabulous pink dress, pink scarf, even pink shoes!

A Pink Tutu Paradise
Darling, when you see my photos, just know that my pink tutu just can't help but shine through. There are so many amazing people to be found here in Prague, who really embrace a life of fabulous and feminine flair!
Of course, my journey to Prague wouldn't have been possible without my dedicated dance classes and the lovely, generous audiences who support my ballet performances.
This truly is my life's work, you know.
Making the World a Pinker Place: My Tutu Dream
Ever since I was little, my heart has dreamt of pink tutus and twirling beneath the sparkling chandeliers of the biggest dance halls!
Now, you know I love my travelling and fashion - but it's much, much bigger than just that, darling. There are some truly special ballet companies in this amazing world. But the really beautiful thing, truly beautiful, is knowing - you just know in your heart that people love to dance, they want to, but just don't know how.
I have dedicated my life to bringing joy into the world! To show everyone how wonderful it can be to twirl around in fabulous pink tutus, to experience the joy and freedom of dance, to have the whole world understand how magical, and empowering it truly can be. My dream is to spread this message across the globe, to bring it to every corner of the earth. A world of sparkling tutus and shining hearts. Can you imagine that? Can you see it? That is the future I see, the vision I hold - one tutu at a time.
