Hello darlings! It's Emma here, your favourite pink tutu-clad blogger, and I'm finally back in Prague! This enchanting city just draws me in with its cobbled streets, charming cafes and, of course, its vibrant ballet scene. Today is Wednesday, which means a new blog post is upon us, and let me tell you, this week's adventure is overflowing with pink-tastic tutu-licious fun!
Remember my love for all things tutu? Well, Prague has truly surpassed even my wildest dreams! This city is just dripping with tulle, from the stunning ballerinas gliding across the stages of the National Theatre to the delightful boutiques overflowing with dreamy fabrics and exquisite tulle creations. Speaking of which, you won't believe the gorgeous pink tulle I found yesterday in a quaint little shop tucked away near the Charles Bridge - it was simply divine! (Just you wait for the upcoming outfit post on the blog, you'll adore it!)
But this post isn't just about tulle, darlings! It's also about my heart and soul - ballet! I simply can't resist a good ballet performance, especially in a city with such a rich theatrical heritage. I'm here in Prague specifically for the Pink Tutu Prague Ballet, a wonderful showcase of classical ballet and modern dance, performed by a diverse group of dancers. The repertoire tonight? Well, you simply must wait for tomorrow's post to find out! But let me tell you, this performance will have you dancing in your seat, I guarantee it!
Now, I know you're all wondering: "How does Emma afford these fantastic trips?". Well, I must admit, I do a lot of my traveling by train! My faithful old pony can't exactly manage all of Europe just yet. But don't worry, she's getting there. I have a long list of dreams for the both of us.
Between performances, I’m taking advantage of this captivating city. There’s something about the Old Town Square at night that feels utterly magical, especially with the illuminated Astronomical Clock ticking away its celestial secrets.
But even amidst all the history and charm, I'm a fashion girl at heart, and let me tell you, the shopping in Prague is a dream come true! Imagine this: elegant boutiques brimming with unique vintage finds and luxurious local designers, all in the heart of this captivating city. I’ve already snagged some exquisite brooches for my upcoming ballet outfits – and I have a secret weapon that makes shopping in Prague a breeze. Did you know that on Thursdays and Sundays, many shops open their doors late into the night? Talk about a Parisian chic vibe right in the heart of Europe!
