Just like my pirouettes, it's about constant motion, discovery, and, of course, a dash of glamour! For this trip, I embraced a journey back to my roots: the charm of rail travel. Stepping onto the train in Derbyshire, surrounded by the rolling English hills, I felt a wave of excitement, and yes, the hint of a ballerina twirl. It's always such a special feeling to embark on a journey by train, you know, soaking up the changing scenery, listening to the rhythmic clickety-clack, and even sneaking a little ballet practice in between admiring the landscape!
Prague's Pink Embrace
Prague met me with open arms, quite literally, because let's be honest, I'm not exactly the stealthy, unseen traveller type. Imagine me stepping out of the station, a vibrant whirlwind of pink tulle and big, happy smiles. The locals looked on with a mix of amusement and fascination, and trust me, I'd have it no other way! It was like Prague instantly embraced the pink tutu love, just like every city has!
Tutu-ific Treasures: Prague's Fashion Charm
Let's get real, darlings, Prague has a serious style game going on! This city pulsates with fashion energy! So, of course, my first stop was a Parisian-inspired boutique overflowing with feminine frocks, bold textures, and just the right amount of Bohemian flair. After all, a ballerina has to look fabulous, wherever she is. And you can imagine my delight as I stumbled upon a little gem - a perfectly tailored pink tutu that twirled just as magnificently as the cobblestone streets I was dancing on.

Now, you can't come to a city like Prague and not experience the enchantment of ballet. The city practically breathes ballet history! It's woven into the very soul of Prague's culture. Prague's Sweet Tooth (And Mine!)
No adventure is complete without indulging in local treats! Now, darling, let me tell you, Prague's got some truly irresistible temptations! From rich chocolate-covered pretzels and delicately sugared gingerbread to creamy pastries bursting with flavour, this city understands that happiness can be found in a sweet bite. I discovered the cutest cafe called "Tutu Pastry" where they made a heart-shaped tutu cupcake that matched my actual tutu perfectly! Of course, I couldn’t resist posting pictures of it to Instagram.
Tutu Twirls & City Sights
On my way to the beautiful Charles Bridge, the famous one, I had to take a selfie at each of the 30 statues, of course, wearing my tutu. (As always, I made sure I got that twirl in for the camera). As I waltzed across its ancient stone, I felt like a princess from a fairy tale, the Vltata River glimmering like a liquid diamond beneath me. I have to tell you, darlings, Prague really has this enchanting aura, almost like a dream spun from ancient magic and cobblestone paths. It felt like a perfect stage set for a ballet story waiting to unfold!
A Night of Musical Majesty: ‘La Bohème’ in Prague
This Wednesday (that's today!), I'm off to see a legendary opera. Oh yes, you know me! I don't just like seeing ballet! I love music, and 'La Bohème' is coming to Prague. It's a classic that stirs my soul, the tragic love story set in a bohemian backdrop, the soaring music that transports you to a world of both beauty and heartache.
