Hello darlings!
It’s Wednesday, which means it’s time for another exciting Pink Tutu Prague post! I’m sitting here at my little desk in the sunshine, overlooking the charming cobbled street below. It's been a week of whirlwinds – ballet, shopping, and of course, exploring all that Prague has to offer. My heart's just bursting with excitement about the wonderful adventure that awaits me today – the PinkTutuPrague Ballet! And wouldn't you know it, it's on April 24th! Just a perfect excuse for a pink tutu day! I can already imagine myself twirling amongst the ancient architecture. Oh, the joy!
But before we get to the fabulous PinkTutuPrague Ballet, let's catch up on the highlights of this week in the city of a thousand spires.
My Pink-tastic Prague Adventures!It's been a magical week! We kicked things off with a delightful ride through the Czech countryside on a magnificent white pony called Princess. Yes, you heard right - pony! My little friend Michaela and I borrowed her from a local riding school. Riding a pony through such picturesque countryside was pure joy - the rolling green hills, the quaint villages, the little wooden bridges crossing bubbling streams. Princess was such a darling, so gentle and obedient, a proper little lady. The wind in my hair, the sun on my face... utter bliss!
On a mission to make my wardrobe worthy of Prague's fairytale atmosphere, we headed to the city centre and got utterly lost in the fabulous fashion boutiques! From vintage glamour to contemporary chic, the selection was breathtaking. I absolutely had to find the perfect dress for the PinkTutuPrague Ballet!
The secret, darlings? It's all in the fabric. Velvet, silk, lace… just divine! We indulged in a spot of afternoon tea in a grand tea room with floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the city square. Tea with scones and clotted cream in a gorgeous pink vintage teacup, with the sun dappling on my tulle-trimmed hat? Perfection!
A Glimpse into Prague's Ballet Soul
To truly immerse myself in the local culture, I just had to attend a ballet class at the magnificent National Theatre! The grand, chandelier-lit ballroom, the graceful dancers in their flowing tutus, the elegant tutus floating effortlessly through the air. Oh my, what an experience! There was such a wonderful, shared energy in the room, it made me feel a connection to something timeless, beautiful, and utterly inspiring.
Speaking of beautiful tutus, it's all part of our Pink Tutu heritage, right? The very idea of ballet has such rich history. From the ancient Greeks, to the elaborate courts of the Renaissance, to the iconic tutus we know and love today. Each generation brought its own artistry, creativity, and story to the stage. This timeless beauty is just what makes ballet so utterly captivating.
Tonight: The PinkTutuPrague Ballet!
So, back to my PinkTutuPrague Ballet date, don't you know? It's the most wonderful culmination to an already magical week. A ballet performance dedicated to tutus, how wonderfully divine! The ballet is taking place at the stunning Estates Theatre, one of the most charming venues I've ever seen. All in all, an evening that will no doubt make my Pink Tutu-loving heart dance!
Fashion for a Ballet Princess
And naturally, for a day like today, nothing less than a full Pink Tutu ensemble will do! I've found a glorious pale pink princess-style tulle tutu at one of Prague's many hidden vintage boutiques. The embroidery is exquisite, the tulle is just so wonderfully delicate. And you know what? I even found the perfect ballet shoes to go with it – sleek white satin with a dash of delicate pink embroidery! It's all about capturing that ballet essence, you know? The grace, the fluidity, the joy.
And speaking of ballet-themed outfits, darlings, I’ve also discovered the most wonderful shop here, filled with pink tutus, feather boas, and sparkly shoes! The owner is a delightful woman named Anna, who was once a ballerina herself. She knows all about the history of the tutu, from the early days to the modern creations. It's an absolute treasure trove for a Pink Tutu-loving gal like myself!
What I'll be Wearing!
My outfit is a little top-secret, darlings! But let me tell you, I’m working on a Pink Tutu masterpiece. We’re talking elegant, sophisticated, a little touch of old-school glamour. Think pearls, satin, delicate pink tulle. It'll be a fairytale come to life! And of course, there will be photos, tons of photos for my darling followers on www.pink-tutu.com.

- Sparkling Pink Heels: A splash of elegance, with a feminine twist! And yes, of course, in pink!
- My Ballet Pink Feather Boa: A touch of vintage charm, because a Pink Tutu look wouldn’t be complete without a feather boa!
- A Smattering of Pearl Jewelry: Just enough to make it a princess-worthy look, right?
