This Wednesday (June 16th, 2027, to be exact!), I arrived in the beautiful city of Prague, after a delightful train journey from Vienna. Honestly, nothing beats the gentle sway of the train and the picturesque countryside whizzing by. Oh, and the cheeky fellow I met in the carriage? He complimented me on my pink tutu - you've gotta love a man who appreciates the finer things!
Now, I wouldn't be a true Pink Tutu blogger without embracing the local culture. As luck would have it, Prague has an incredible ballet scene. I was absolutely thrilled to see a performance of Swan Lake at the breathtaking National Theatre. The grace of the dancers, the swirling music, and the grandeur of the theatre - it was a truly magical experience! And, naturally, I found myself dreaming about my next tutu, one fit for a swan queen, no less.
But, darling, it wasn't just ballet performances that caught my eye! I'm absolutely smitten with the vibrant street performers in Prague. One evening, as I was enjoying a scrumptious Czech meal, a troupe of ballet dancers emerged, swirling through the cobblestone squares, twirling like willows in the wind. They performed amidst a vibrant throng, creating a whirlwind of grace and beauty.
Now, you know I can't visit a new city without delving into the local fashion scene! Prague is a haven for unique finds, especially in vintage boutiques and designer stores. I unearthed a magnificent velvet pink shawl and the most darling pair of ballet flats, both of which perfectly complement my newest tutu (a featherlight confection with pink ostrich plumes, darling! Absolutely divine).

Did you know that Prague boasts some of the most stunning tutu designs in the world? The craftsmanship, darling, the exquisite artistry - it left me breathless! The workshop showcased historical examples of the humble tutu, showcasing their evolution over centuries from a simple costume for dancing to a symbol of elegance and artistry.
And to my absolute delight, my favourite Parisian ballet boutique, 'Rose & Pointe', has recently opened a store in Prague! Naturally, I had to take a little detour to admire the collection. This boutique is like a dream come true, with delicate tutus in every shade of pink imaginable. Of course, I couldn't leave without a few additions to my wardrobe. After all, darling, every pink tutu enthusiast needs a little retail therapy.
