#PinkTutuPrague Ballet in Prague 2027-11-03

Hello, lovelies! Emma here, your resident pink tutu enthusiast, and I’m absolutely giddy to be bringing you post number 1691, direct from the heart of Prague! I'm on the hunt for all things pink, fluffy and beautiful in this magical city, and I can't wait to share the experience with you.

It feels like only yesterday I was prancing around in Derbyshire, packing my pink tulle for this grand European adventure! (Actually, it was a whirlwind of ballet classes, dress fittings and last-minute suitcase juggling, but who's counting, right?) This week's trip to Prague has been meticulously planned around the most glamorous event: a Pink Tutu Prague Ballet performance on the 3rd of November!

My love for ballet is well documented - you’ve seen me strutting my stuff in tutus of all shapes and sizes, from romantic, flowing tulle to more modern, structured styles. I can’t imagine life without the grace and artistry of this enchanting dance form. So when I stumbled upon the Pink Tutu Prague Ballet program online, it felt like fate was whispering, “Emma, pack your sequins and get thee to Prague!”

Now, some of you might think, "Emma, why not take a plane?" And let me tell you, darling, planes are fab, but nothing compares to the romance of a train journey! There’s just something about gliding through the countryside, admiring the picturesque landscapes from the window, sipping a glass of bubbly (or three!), and, of course, donning my most fabulous travel attire.

This week’s travel ensemble involved my favourite floral printed sundress, a fluffy, pink cardigan and a splash of shimmer with my favourite gemstone necklace – perfect for a charming and comfy trip on the Eurostar. The train journey was truly magical, and I'm not just saying that because it made it to Prague in one piece. The colours of the autumn leaves whizzing past the windows were a stunning symphony, making me yearn for the whimsical world of the ballet.

After a rather refreshing night of dreamy travel slumber, we arrived in Prague! As we stepped off the train, the city immediately enveloped me in a comforting warmth. It's so much more than just a European capital - Prague possesses a distinct old-world charm that makes you feel as though you’ve stepped onto the set of a fairy tale. Cobblestone streets winding through ancient architecture, vibrant colours peeking from shop windows, and a palpable sense of history swirling around you. It’s simply breathtaking!

I'm obsessed with this city’s vibrant blend of architectural wonders: the grand grandeur of Prague Castle, the intricate artistry of the Charles Bridge, the gothic elegance of the Old Town Square. And let's not forget the enchanting storybook vibes that fill the air! You can’t walk ten feet without encountering a magnificent statue or discovering a hidden courtyard teeming with history and secrets.

Prague, for me, is an open invitation to get lost in its dreamy world of architectural beauty, bustling squares, and enchanting streets. The air hums with life, art, and culture, creating an atmosphere perfect for letting my creative mind wander and explore.

Oh my goodness! Shopping in Prague is a symphony for the senses. It’s a wonderland of fashion and exquisite treasures. One of my favourite discoveries so far was the "Národní Třída," a charming street brimming with elegant boutiques, quirky gift shops, and stylish cafés. This area was the perfect place to add a touch of Prague magic to my wardrobe, a true treasure trove of unique finds for my ballet enthusiast wardrobe.

Let’s just say, I couldn't resist snagging a gorgeous pastel pink, feather-trimmed cardigan from a shop called “Pivoňka.” The design was just so wonderfully whimsical – think vintage lace with a touch of modern flair. And I just knew it would be the perfect accompaniment to a ballerina-inspired outfit.

I also stumbled upon the most fabulous pair of delicate silver earrings shaped like swans, adding a touch of regal elegance to my collection. The perfect accessory to wear with my pink tutu for the Pink Tutu Prague Ballet show tonight! And speaking of tutus…

Finally, the night of the show has arrived! I am bubbling with excitement, and not just from the delicious bottle of Bohemian bubbly I have tucked away for tonight’s performance! (A little toast to the ballet, wouldn’t you say?)

My anticipation for this ballet experience is simply phenomenal! As an avid attendee of both traditional and contemporary ballet performances, I’m eager to discover the unique style and artistic expression of Pink Tutu Prague Ballet. It promises to be a magical blend of dance and spectacle – the perfect way to end my first day in this extraordinary city!

I can’t wait to see how the talented dancers interpret this unique and beautiful story with their elegant movements, breathtaking costumes, and captivating choreography. The entire performance, from the opening act to the grand finale, is sure to be an exquisite feast for the eyes.

Tonight, the curtain will rise, and I'll be in my little pink haven, transported to a world of magical stories. The Parisian style, meanwhile, oozes chic with its minimalist cuts and striking lines, perfect for a contemporary ballet performance or even a swanky soirée!

But let’s be honest, my true love lies with the traditional ballerina tutu - those fluffy, delicate clouds of tulle that create the most magical silhouette imaginable. These beautiful, delicate, intricate works of art transport us to a world of enchantment, making us feel like fairytale princesses.

I’ve got a lot more Prague adventures planned for this trip! From exploring the historical sites of Old Town, where the history feels like it’s still in the air, to finding more of those beautiful, pink-tinted cafes – Prague has captured my heart and made me feel as though I’m home.

But, alas, even magical journeys must come to an end, and tomorrow morning, I must bid farewell to this magnificent city. Until then, I’m going to savour every single moment of this ballet-infused journey, filling my days with a mix of breathtaking ballet performances, exquisite shopping finds and the heartwarming charm of Prague.
